I hired them months back because I was told they were great painters. They were supposed to paint the exterior of our home from grey to white and paint the front porch on the top and bottom floors. They pressure washed my house almost 2 months before they finally painted last week. They didn’t prep the wood on the front porches and beams correctly so the paint bubbled in multiple places and they painted over debris in others. They had to come back multiple times to try and fix it but they couldn’t and blamed it on the type of wood on my porch. So now I’m left with layers of paint over the popped bubbles and dirt painted over on the beams. When I asked how the paint was prepped and why they didn’t pressure wash closer they argued with me and blamed the weather and the type of wood my porches are. They even mocked me and said well did you think we going to wash your house twice? When I spoke with the rep at sherwin Williams To ask paint questions and why this was happening I was told that the wood was not prepped right since they used and oil prep on red wood. They did not sand in a lot of spots and they cut corners. Next our house was a light grey and I wanted the vinyl painted white. They only thought one coat was enough with a sprayer and left me with the grey coming though and spray marks all over my house. They had to come back 3 more times to keep spraying and I can still see spots where the grey isn’t gone and his spray marks. For 5800$ I got totally ripped off! It’s so frustrating to spend this kind of money and be so disappointed and now have to call someone else to come out and fix all of these mistakes. You can only blame the weather so many times but the prep work and paint techniques were unprofessional and rushed. I wish someone would have told me to not use them so I hope this helps someone else from going through what I just went through.

When Bill himself (the "old man") is there, everything goes smoothly and is done properly. He is a skilled and proud craftsman who takes pride in his work.

Left to his own devices his son/partner is lazy and indifferent. He missed areas and refused to go back and paint them whe they were pointed out to him. I did it myself after they left.

THE FATHER MUST AGREE TO STAY FOR THE ENTIRE JOB OR USE SOMEONE ELSE.

Everything went fine and I did not have any problems with them.  I have an older home with a lot of stains and they did a good job.

I had to ask them to repair obvious cracks and paint chips in the garage.  The crew was very accommodating, but the owner was not willing to accommodate.   The crew and owner do show up on time, and they were there when I was told they would be.  The crew did take some things out of the garage for me with no problem.  The owner made it seem like it was a chore for them to put my things back in the center of garage, when it was just a simple job.   I made the mistake of hiring his crew, instead of sticking with my original painter that I have used for years.  I thought I would save time and money so I went with this name.  I have decided to hire somebody else to come out and repaint my trim.  Their price was great, but I would have been willing to pay more if the quality of work would have been better.

The job went very well and Dalton painting paid attention to all details.  The owners of the company performed the work also and the employees of the company were all very professional.

They are one of the best priced exterior painters around. I had hired them in the past as well. Their last paint job lasted for 7 years. They charge for the labor and paint. I have to book them early as they have a busy schedule. They do a very thorough job. They also cleaned up once the job was done. They did not destroy my landscaping. I had a good experience with them.
