It went very well. First trip they identified the problem. Then then returned to tackle the repair, taking out several bricks to access. They took some of the mortar with them so they could match up the color. Several days later they returned and mortared the bricks back in place. They also brought back a longer "key" to turn the gas on and off. This replaced a rather poor system which was previously there. The fireplace now works fine and the brickwork looks good.

I was having some issues with it and had others and then I went to them. I haven't had too many repair things I needed them for. I have had them do a few things and then every few years, I have them clean the sewer out. They come and clean that out every few years. It's maintenance, I don't really want problems. The last time I had it done, it was $300. My front yard is 90 feet from the street, so it's a very long run. It's a family-owned business and they're just people that you're very comfortable having in your house, which is another big thing for me, it can get kind of scary. They're very knowledgeable. One time, several years ago, I called them out thinking that my hot water tank was leaking and they came out to replace it. There was two of them that came that time. When he went down and he was looking, he said that it was just a condensation thing that I had never had before and he said it really didn't need to be replaced. That is very impressive because I really thought I needed replacement. It was old and everything, but he said no, it wasn't leaking or anything else, he thought it was fine and would last another few years, which he was right. I haven't had to replace it. There was no charge for coming out or anything. He just said, "No, you don't need it replaced." That is the kind of company that you want to keep in your little file of repairs because they don't fix something if it's not broken.

These guys ran a tight ship.  They arrived on time, figured out the
problem quickly and were out of here in 20 minutes.  I suppose you get
what you pay for, which in this case was quality work.

They were a lot less expensive than other companies we had used before.

Told us what we needed to replace and began work the following week.

They were very professional and extremely nice.  They didn?t bill us for any extra time.

Very good service. Changed the mechanism in about 15 minutes and have not had any problems since.

Although "no guarantee" was specified due to the age of the fixtures, both were fixed and have had no problems since.

Phone appointment was handled professionally and competently.  Was asked the nature of the problem and received appointment within 48 hours.  This was not an emergency.  Brad came to the house within 5 minutes of my receiving a call this morning.  He took precautions to prevent any mess and explained what he needed to do to fix the problems.  He was professional and handled each problem well.  Also cleaned work areas completely.  It's great to have everything working as it should after several amateur attempts didn't solve the problem.  In fact, those may have made things worse but Brad was able to correct the problems quickly and completely.  I am recommending this company to friends and to those on Angie's List.

I tried wiemels after my usual plumbers didnt respond. Wiemels took my call right away, including scheduling me that week right before Xmas. The plumber arrived on time and set to work right away. He identified a leak while working that could be handled in another part of the remodel. he was supposed to snake the bathroom sink, but told me he would put that off until I had the new sink installed in case some pipes had to be replaced..  I looked forward to having them finish the remodel of the rest of the bath (new toilet, vanity and sink). But the estimate they gave needed to be readjusted, and they never got to it, so that job did go to someone else.  A+++ on the shower. D on the estimate work.
