WEISS MOVERS

Worst experience I have had in the last 13 moves. Packing was extremely poor quality, used boxes, lots of damage to household goods even those that were not considered breakable. While our household goods were in storage Weiss shipped one pod or unit to someone else in error. When our goods arrived we noticed many items missing. We were told by Wayne he would take care of everything. Not the case. I'm looking at getting $.60/lb on Thomasville Bedroom furniture, and singed original artwork worth over $20k. Talk is cheap, don't trust them.

The two movers Weiss sent were prompt, friendly, courteous and highly skilled.  They managed to back their truck up a narrow driveway without touching the recently-installed snowplow stakes on either side, which was impressive.  They worked quickly and protected Mom's furniture with plastic wrap and padding.  On the other end they put everything exactly where we wanted it.  They disassembled and reassembled a bed with no difficulty.

From start to finish, Weiss Movers did an outstanding job! The two guys were punctual, hard working, very nice and professional. The huge surprise was how well they packed and protected my things! Great job Derek and Rich! I have never seen this with any other movers in the past. They certainly go above and beyond. They made my stressful moving day so much easier. But please, somebody buy those guys a pack of pens!

For moving services we used Weiss. They were excellent. They were very hard workers. The professionalism, the clean up and everything else was excellent. I don't remember what the price was but it was very reasonable with the competition.

Things went great- the best service we have ever experienced from a moving company (this is my 9th move).  From day one they were all very courteous and professional.  They came out to estimate at a time I wanted and were on time. Wayne, who did the estimate was very  knowledgeable, helpful, and friendly. He gave us tips to help make the move easier and less expensive. The other companies, I got to quote did not do this.  The price of the services provided was reasonable.  The moving crew was on time, worked quickly and very hard throughout the day.  The crew was very polite and friendly, clean, and extremely hard-working with a great attitude.  We had a snow storm that day and they made sure all the floors and carpets of both homes were covered to not track in anything. They also shoveled the walkway and driveway and would not let me do it for them. We were not sure how to properly place a few pieces of furniture and had to have them move it a few times. They did not complain and assured us to take our time and make sure we get it right. They also gave us boxes to use as part of the price and gave us a credit for all returned boxes, something I have never experienced before. 

Will definitely use them again if the need arises and highly recommend them!!

Things went wonderfully - the best service any of my family has ever experienced from a moving company or any service provider for that matter.  From day one when I contacted the company for general information, to the estimate, to the moving itself, everyone was courteous, cheerful, honest, and helpful.  The price of the services provided was reasonable.  The moving crew was on time, worked quickly and very hard throughout the day.  The crew was very polite and friendly, clean, and extremely hard-working and flexible.  They listened and had my Aunt moved in no time.  After payment was made, they even refunded my aunt $90.00 because the owner promised my aunt (while at her house to give the initial estimate) that he would not charge her for the travel time from their warehouse to her home.  Apparently she ended up being charged, but they refunded the money without us even noticing it had been done.  So honest - how unusual.  We also received a $50 gift card to Lowes for hiring them!  Will use them again if the need arises and highly reccommend them!!

I called Weiss movers for an estimate (one of three) because I had used them when I moved from an apartment into my 1400 square foot home back in 2007 and I had very good memories of that experience.  They lived up to those past impressions!  The company was responsive via email to schedule an onsite cost assessment (which was conveniently done around my work schedule) and their price was the best of the three estimates.  This plus a very professional first impression at time of estimate landed Weiss the job. They called the day before to confirm and the movers showed up on time and ready to go. The move took just the amount of time that was estimated and everything went smoothly, including disassembling and reassembling a couple of pieces of furniture. The one hiccup was the truck unexpectedly had no wardrobe boxes on it but we improved with the help of the movers and the issue was minor at most. Overall, I definitely recommend Weiss Movers; they make a stressful time so much easier!

They have different crews that came, there was some miscommunication between who ever took the order and what they told the crew that came. They weren't very happy with the start work but they ended up doing a great job on finishing ahead of time.

They were awesome!  They arrived on time, were very professional but also very personable.  They went above and beyond and took the time to do everything right.  They respected all of our items and managed to get it all done in one day, even with the large amount of items we had. 

The movers at Weiss Movers were very prepared and extremely friendly. They took great care of our items and put our minds at ease. I would definitely use them again!

They hand carried everything from one apartment to the adjacent one!!

They helped me move my belongings into a new home. They did a very fine job. They were an excellent crew and it took about 6 or more movers. This was a big move and it only took them 1 day to complete. They did some packing for me and moved everything in trucks. They were very friendly, thorough and efficient.

NOT GOOD. SUBMITTED PRICE WAS ALMOST TWICE ESTIMATE, TOOK WAY TO LONG, SPENT OVER 1.5 HRS ON REFRIDGERATOR ALONE.MISSING 1 GLASS SHELF. EVEN THOUGH EFFORT WAS THERE, MOVERS SEEMED INEXPERIENCED AND RARELY ON SAME PAGE. MOVE WAS ONLY 10 MINUTES AWAY AND IT SEEMED TO TAKE FOREVER. HAD SEVERAL MOVERS IN PAST, AND THIS WAS THE ONLY ONE THAT DIDNT GO WELL. MANY ITEMS WERE NOT PLACED WELL.( I.E. DINING ROOM CHAIRS IN BEDROOM IS ONE OF MANY EXAMPLES.) . I COULD GO ON, BUT I DONT HAVE THE TIME.  WOULD NOT RECOMMEND IF U WANT FAST PROFESSIONAL SERVICE.

During the interview for the estimate and selection of a moving company the contact people who came out were very pleasant and to the point.  I was impressed with their business demeanor.  They quickly provided me with a written estimate and were most informative as to what would occur.
On moving day, the trucks and employees arrived on time and started right in. Everyone seemed to know what they were to do and things proceeded smoothly throughout the day. Likewise the move into my new home went methodically and efficiently. Personnel were very friendly and cooperative and pleasant to be around. The move was accomplished in one day and they worked until the job was completed. I have nothing but good things to say about the company and would definitely use them again or recommend them to my friends.

The crew of three guys arrived on time. They worked hard and were very capable and professional. Michael and John in particular have very upbeat personalities which made what can be a stressful experience pretty relaxed for my wife and me.

Went smooth and quick

Barney and his team did a great job.  They were especially kind to elderly people who were worried about all of their items.  They were on time, took less time than the estimate, and hence cost less than the estimate.  I have used them before and I will definitely use them again.

When they came in to the new house they knew which room the furniture came from. We got them from Angie's List and we were not disappointed. They were professional and protected the floors. They were efficient and fast and we would highly recommend them.

I was very pleased with the job.  worked quickly, but were very careful with all the items.

I have used this company several times. I used their storage units for almost a year. When I finally got my items out of storage, they were still in excellent condition. Their storage price was far less than other companies that I did research on. My overall experience with them has been excellent. I will use them again.
