Well it's funny because they have a certain criteria that they use before they come out. So, I end up paying like $50 every time they come out and plow. It doesn't snow a lot but it snows often. It's not on call, so they get to it when they get to it. I don't call them they just show up. They are out at all hours of the night, when it snows a lot. I think they need more vehicles. They do every single person in my neighborhood. They are extremely popular. I don't think they have enough vehicles to cover all the people. Sometimes they would plow once a day when you really need it three times a day.

The only problem we've ever had with them is a GREAT problem to have--it takes longer to mow! We've tried other cheaper companies and they just don't compare. We've been using them for about 2 & 1/2 years now and our lawn has never been so thick, green and beautiful! They are VERY good about not wasting your $$. If it's a treatment that needs a period of dry weather, they will not come out until the weather will be right for that treatment. If any weeds come up, they will come out at no charge. Once you go with Weed Man, you'll never settle for a lesser product or service for your lawn! We love you Weed Man! ♡♡

They stay behind their contract, they come back. I've had some goofy ones come out here but they do stay behind it so they do come back and fix everything. I got mad at them a few times. They do respond. They come 4 or 5 times a year. They don't make me take the service which is nice, like there's no contract so if I don't want it like last month it was so hot and dry here and I called them up and told them not to spray my lawn because they'll kill it. I said to wait until some rain comes and they did. They are supposed to come 5 times, not mandatory. Sometimes their company is like, the left hand doesn't know what the right is doing, but they always correct it. I hope they'll quit going up every year on the prices because I am a regular person and I'll keep having them. If they'll keep going up, they will lose me.

They did the snow pile contract so they come from November to March. So we had snow in April but they came anyway. The pricing is excellent. They come early in the morning. They will return if there is significant snow during the day. They will return during the day to clear you out. If you have an issue, you can call and they will respond to a concern. So I have always found them to be responsive to come for concerns. And I’ve worked with them for I think 8 years.

I have signing snow plowing contract with them for last 9 years. Apparently the contract goes for one snow season. Did not show up on 4/9/16 after a heavy snow storm. Called them, to make sure they come in but never showed up. We did not get lot of snow this year so it was a total waste of money.

This company was reliable, plowed when expected. I called once to ask them to return and move some of the snow to the other end of my driveway.  They were very prompt to return and the job was well done..

We have a pretty long, circular driveway. We had another snow removal service last year and we didn’t like it. That is why we switched to Eastside on the recommendation of a neighbor. It is okay. The price is okay and at least it is not expensive.

It was fine. I have a one lane driveway, so I only takes them about 5 minutes. They give you what you contract for.

We have used Eastside Landscaping and other parts of their company (weedman) for other landscaping services in the past and were happy with their service. However, when it comes to snow plowing, the service is horrible. We continually wait and wait in hopes that the snow plow comes. Today I trudged through 4 inches of wet, heavy snow at 7:15 today to get to my car. I know it is not the end of the world, but when hauling children, backpacks, etc...you hope that a service you pay for snow removal would do such a thing. They have torn up our lawn multiple times. They claim to have a fleet of various sized vehicles to accomodate the long, narrow Heights driveways, but we only ever get a large truck that knocks over the sticks in the yard and rips up our grass in the backyard. I have tried calling, but only receive a voicemail message with no response. I understand snow removal is a tough job, especially in Cleveland, but I hope a large company like this could rise to the occasion, hire more drivers and get out earlier to get the job done. They have broken their contract by not showing up on time, or at all.

We hired the retired landscape architect from the Cleveland Botanical Gardens to design a complete redo of our 1950's vintage landscape in Shaker.     Eastside was one of his recommendations and Angie's list confirmed the recommendation.  We received two bids - the first bid was "time and materials" - very open ended and they would not let us pin them down on a full cost.   Jim and the team from Eastside came out three times to review our design, measure, and talk with our designer.   Their quote was a solid number that we could count on.   Not cheap but with what we were doing - we had to have quality.
From start to finish they were extremely responsive, flexible and easy to work with.   When we ran into a drainage issue that we didn't count on - they had several alternatives to consider - but had a well articulated point of view of the right thing to do.    We had one miscommunication on the design of one bed that could have resulted in significant re-work on their part and they were willing to do it.   Ultimately we found a path that avoided the re-work and which we actually liked better.   It could have been quite a mess but they were patient and open throughout the discussions.   To me that is a real indicator of a good contractor to work with - how do they handle a conflict.
