Top Notch Tree Service

It went great. They are very professional and we have been using them for about 5 years now. I would recommend them.

He was recommended to us by our lawn care company. He is very responsive to my phone calls and can come out quickly to my home to give an estimate. He always arrives on time as promised and he does a great job. He accomodates to my schedule but you do not have to be here when he gets here.

Very well. They came in the morning when they said and brought their equipment up my driveway very carefully not to do any damage. The cutting was clean and efficient. When they finished they cleaned up the back yard and left it neat with no debris or a twig anywhere. I highly recommend Top Notch Tree Service and Bill for doing a wonderful job.

Lets face it. Any tree service can cut down a tree but when it comes to stump grinding, not all companies do a good job. Top Notch does an awesome stump grinding. I've had 3 other companies do tree service in the past and they needed to come back to "finish" the grinding. The owner of Top Notch is professional and easy to work with.

I was very satisfied with his work. The price was great and the clean-up was excellent.

It went fine. It's a big job and the houses are really close together. The area was covered in sawdust and wood chips that just collected in the bushed etc. Overall, it was all good. Just figure on alot of mess to clean up when a tree is taken down.

Cleaned up very well. Did the best stump grinding(I have had 4 other tree stumps ground in the past by other tree services). Very polite and patient.

They were the first ones to call me back on the estimate with the lowest bid, hundreds of dollars less than other quotes. They stuck with their estimate. I called them and told them I would like them to do the job. They said they would be out within a week or two. They didn t come right away and I called them again to ask them if they were coming out. The next week he came out and then called me the day before they came to say when he was going to come. They were very professional. Three guys with the proper equipment had everything that they needed. I asked him on the day that they came out and asked them if they would move part of the tree that fell in the neighbor s property and he did move it with no extra charge. Everything was very clean. Good job with cutting the tree and didn t leave much of a stump. They did a very good job!

The response to my call for an estimate was soon returned, and the appointments for the estimate, and for the actual work, were kept as scheduled. Mr. Butterfield was pleasant to work with, serious about his work, and well-organized. I recommend Top Notch to anyone needing tree service. Overall, working with this company was a very good experience!

I chose Top Notch because their estimate was way below the other two I had gotten ($500 less!). Bill and his partner came at 9 AM to start the job, two weeks after the estimate. They cut all the trees and chipped them, shooting the chips right into their trucks. Bill had done some planning so that the felling of the trees did not cause any problems - the tallest tree came right down very easily and did not endanger my house or my fence. Once all of the trees were down and chipped, he cut the remaining, thickest parts into firewood logs for me and stacked them neatly where I'd specified. He then used the stump grinder to get rid of all the stumps. The yard was in perfect shape when he left - very clean, no chippings, leaves, sticks or tree pieces laying around. He raked and blew the stump grindings into very neat piles. Bill and his partner worked very hard on a very hot day and did a fantastic job!

Even though they had to use large equipment, there was no damage to the surrounding lawn area. Plus, they cleaned up all the debris. I believe the yard was cleaner than before they came! Very gentlemanly and polite. I recommended them to two neighbors who were also very pleased. Their price was 25% lower than other bids.
