Great! Response was in hours of initial phone call for service request, same day. Had no heat for days with below freezing night temps and was greatly relieved to have heat again! Very friendly and courteous service!

I have been going with Tiger Air since 2008 when they installed my furnace ( They installed my AC in 2009) and have been very happy with them. They are always very nice, knowledgeable, and professional. I would highly recommend them!

On the replacing parts side for the first visit, fine. We weren't charged again when it happened again within 24 hours, which is good. But without much to back him up, the tech said we'd better just replace the furnace. He said the heat exchanger was bad, but the only evidence he cited was a crackling noise as it heated up. He did check CO concentrations -- not that he discussed them with me directly -- and told our home warranty people they were at 40 ppm. With a little research (and info from a more thorough and professional HVAC company), it's plain that level is much lower than one that indicates a problem (which is 5-10 times as much). A second opinion made it clear that with more thorough and well-explained inspection, the furnace was fine. The better company made some needed adjustments and did tests like examining the temperature of the air going in and coming out which Tiger never did. (The difference was higher than the furnace was rated for; pretty clear that was related to the overheating, but Tiger never checked.) I'm not saying they always recommend an unnecessary furnace replacement. But they recommended an unnecessary furnace replacement to me, and didn't do a complete workup in the first place. Thank goodness I got a second opinion! Would not call Tiger again.

Get a second opinion, the technician who was sent out tried to scam us. We recently bought a house in January and our home inspector told us the furnace needed to be cleaned. I believe we called Tiger Heating and Air Conditioning sometime in the spring and someone was sent out, unfortunately I can't remember his name now. He went to look at it and then came back giving us the cracked heat exchange story. Told us it was so bad he was afraid to clean it in case the whole thing would break and there was potential for carbon monoxide, then he gave us a quote for a whole new furnace and didn't charge for the visit. Something didn't sit well with us and we got a second opinion from another business who said our furnace was perfectly fine. So be careful when anyone talks about a cracked heat exchange and ask them to show it to you.

Habit, more than anything else, keeps me going back.  We're happy.  We have no reason to look elsewhere. So, we're happy.  We know about them, we know they're good, so we just keep using them.  They do call us once in a while to remind us about a service agreement or something if we want it.

We use them every year to check our furnace and our air conditioning.  We have a service contract.  They do a good job.  They come at least once a year, sometimes twice a year.  Maybe one time for air conditioning and another time in the fall for the furnace.  Everything was as agreed or better than as agreed.  Happy, happy customer.  Workers were courteous, efficient and knowledgeable.

They didn't find a problem.  They didn't find a problem. So, they didn't charge anything.  I can't compare the previous prices with anything else for sure.  They have good service and they come when they say they will show up.  And the service people seem to be knowledgeable and courteous.

It didn't take him long to get here. He was really nice. He explained everything, he did the CO2 test to see if there was any problem. He was excellent. I think his name was Theo. The whole service with the induction mortar was $390. I liked that he did the extra thing with the CO2 monitor to check my outlets by the furnace. He made sure the shut off valves were working. He brought me a new filter. There was some kind of little thing that was going bad inside, it was called an anchor or something. He put that in as a courtesy for me, that was really nice because the other people wanted like $700 and that was not including in the labor. My Realtor turned me over to him because she probably deals with these people all the time.

I initially called and I was told that someone would come to give me a quote on Saturday, I called them on Friday no call no show and then I called them back and they promptly came out and briefly gave me a quote very quickly didn't really seem too interested to doing the work. Keep track of their appointments.

I was a satisfied customer with my most recent experience.  Tiger did the following:
1)  Professional over the phone
2)  Was able to get a service appointment the same week
3)  They showed up within the time frame they gave me.  Plus they call 15 minutes before they arrive to confirm.
4)  Quality of work was fine
5)  Customer friendly technician
Plus I joined their Home Smart Club that covers furnace and AC tune-ups.  Seems like a nice program they put together.
I would recommend to others looking for a good HVAC company.

I thought there was something wrong with the fan, because it seemed loud.
To my surprise, the tech informed me all was good, cleaned out the A/C with soap and water, and it was quitter.. I was so happy.

Whole house air conditioning had been out for nearly two weeks.  It wasn't blowing at all, but the unit outside came on.  I had looked at their Angie's List posting along with several others and did not know who to call.  Then I received a "Deals" email from Angie's List for Tiger Air.  I wished I had called them sooner.
