We went to an area of Cleveland I have nicknamed the 4 corners of mattresses...there are so many stores in this  area to choose from, it's tough to decide.  Wanted to make an informed decision on where to buy a mattress.  We first went to the Original Mattress Factory.  The salesman was very nice & showed us the construction of the mattress and exclaimed how the mattress were put together right there in the store.  He told us the differences between a conventional mattress and a foam mattress, pillow-top, etc.  There were many choices & many price ranges...all mattress were available immediately.  We decided to shop around, possibly come back.  We went next door to Mattress Matters.  Kim Bregar, the associate greeted us immediately and asked us what our needs were.  She told us of many options that we could choose from as well as what she thought of the other store offerings.  She was professional, gave positive critiques of other stores but also countered with the Columbus Day sale.  I knew of the upcoming sale, but didn't put much stock that the "deal" would be that great.  I was very wrong, we were given a VERY good price on our Southerland Troubador firm mattress.  We tried the high-end mattress as well as the mid-range, they both had 12 year warranties-- also was suggested to get the mattress cover which is necessary should the mattress have to be returned or exchanged for any reason.  The paperwork clearly states if you are unhappy with your selection you are free to re-select within 90 days applying an 80% credit of the original purchase price.  It goes on with other details as well, but we were impressed to say the least.  I highly recommend Mattress Matters for the selection, prices and sales team....we did take delivery immediately and I am enjoying my new mattress, so I cannot describe delivery team, but the man who brought us the mattress from the warehouse was very pleasant & ensured we were satisfied with getting it into our truck.  I actually feel refreshed in the morning instead of achy & stiff.  Thanks!

We purchased a Queen Pillow Top Orthopedic mattress set at OMF about a week ago. I found their no-hassle sales approach very appealing, and reminiscent of my four consecutive Saturn auto purchases (same low-key approach). On our first visit we were given a "tour" of mattresses made by various manufacturers which had been cut open to show the innards, then compared with OMF's which are made right at the State Road facility. This demonstration left us with the impression of business transparency and honesty, and I found it so fascinating that I longed to do the same with our 25+-year-old mattress before the new set arrived. I was surprised that OMF is apparently the only company still making 2-sided mattresses. Other stores insist that "new technology" makes the 1-sided a better product, but I wasn't buying that because it doesn't really make sense. I appreciated that the order of mattresses from firmest to softest was clearly explained as we shopped. Also they sell mattresses alone for those who have platform beds or for whatever reason don't want box springs. On our third visit we were ready to purchase and I mentioned my mattress surgery idea to make sure there would be no problem with disposal. They said it's just going to the landfill so knock yourself out. Prior to delivery we taped up the small area so the stuffing wouldn't fall out as the guys took it away, and this was a smart decision because when they saw that we'd cut it, they said they aren't supposed to take mattresses that have coils showing, so as not to risk tearing new ones in the truck. They did allow it since it was taped, and we realized that the salesperson had probably never been asked before and so had no awareness of that detail. Anyway, the delivery men were expected between 9a-noon and arrived at 9:01. They were in and out in about 20 minutes. Very quick, friendly, professional and conscientious. OMF policy is that if you order a queen set and the bedroom is on an upper floor, they bring along a split box spring just in case the traditional one doesn't fit up the stairwell. Ours did, but if it hadn't we'd have just written a check for $50+tax and problem solved. A thoughtful detail that avoids hassle and guesswork, and prevents the customer from unnecessarily paying extra. We also bought a new frame since the new, thicker (and presumably heavier) sets require a horizontal center support bar (cost: a reasonable $60) and although they could not take our old frame, they did take it out to the tree lawn for trash pickup the following day (and of course someone garbage-picked it before then). They also attached our old headboard to the frame. We are happy with the bed, though it is a bit firmer than it seemed in the showroom, but presumably will just need a little breaking in. The website even has a mattress flip/rotate email reminder program. Did you know you should never flip and rotate at the same time? I definitely learned a lot about mattresses when I walked into OMF. Their sales reps really know their stuff. Would definitely recommend to others.

We walked in and the sales people left us alone providing guidance only when requested. They sales people were knowledgeable and helpful.

They seem fine. They helped me while buying; they gave me different choices. They delivered the mattresses on time. The sales person was okay; she gave me all the information but somehow we did not connect. They were professional. I will use them in the future.

Bottom line: OMF sells good mattresses at good prices, without the sales pitch. The sales people are very friendly and knowledgeable but mostly are there to answer questions. If you don't ask for help they mostly just leave you alone to lay on the various mattresses. Ours actually tried to talk us out of spending more ("are you sure you need that much mattress?"). There are no sales or gimmicks; the prices are very good compared to name brands. Their basic line is that all the mattresses are good, just pick what you find comfortable. Because OMF makes their own mattresses "to order", they also have a "comfort guarantee" that allows you to send the mattress back to the factory to have padding added or removed if you find the bed too firm or too soft. Probably not something many take advantage of, but it's a nice option. I can't speak yet to the quality/comfort of the mattress (we may not know for years), but for the price and the buying experience, I recommend OMF.

I used the list to see what others thought about local stores. It was low pressure sales and once I ordered the delivery the mattress was at my house within three days. I like the quality of the mattress and overall am happy with this store.

We visited the store seeking good quality, no frills mattresses for two children. The lack of pressure in the sales room and the ability to try out each model was very welcome. Overall, we appreciated the lack of confusing jargon and the simplicity of the limited number of models in the showroom that made comparison shopping much easier. The mattresses were delivered as promised and have worked great. We would definitely visit again when we need a new mattress.

We would have paid twice as much for the mattress we purchased at The Original Mattress Factory, plus it was a better quality mattress. We are very happy with our new pillow-top (both sides) with cylinder edge supports and low profile box spring. They also moved the old set upstairs to our other bedroom set.

Our experience was excellent. The owner, Ron Trzinski, spent about an hour and a half helping us to select the right products. He showed us through the factory and explained important details about mattress construction. We were extremely satisfied with the entire process and with the products. They were delivered when they had told us they would be delivered, and our old bedding was removed.

VERY GOOD PRODUCT. NO HIGH PRESSURE SALES PITCH. JUST THE FACTS.

LOOK NO FURTHER FOR YOUR NEXT BED PURCHASE. I VISITED THE STATE RD LOCATION & HAD A VERY FRIENDLY, NON-AGGRESSIVE SALESMAN WORK WITH US. HE SHOWED US THE BEDS & WALKED AWAY. HE WAS VERY AVAILABLE FOR QUESTIONS BUT THERE IS NO PRESSURE AT THIS FACILITY. THE PRICE FOR THE BED & DELIVERY WAS VERY FAIR. PLENTY OF BEDS ON DISPLAY MADE SHOPPING EASY.

WE NEEDED DELIVERY WITHIN THE WEEK & THERE WERE NO PROBLEMS GETTING THIS ACCOMPLISHED. VERY NICE SHOW ROOM & PLEASANT PEOPLE FROM ALL ASPECTS OF THE TRANSACTION. MATTRESSES ARE VERY COMFORTABLE. NOT A PAINFUL EXPERIENCE AT ALL.

I THINK IT IS VERY HARD TO PICK OUT A NEW MATTRESS. WHAT SEEMS GOOD IN THE STORE MAY NOT BE GOOD AT HOME. THE SALESWOMAN WAS VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE. THE PRICES WERE SET (NO SALES) AND VERY REASONABLE. SHOPPING FOR MATTRESSES CAN BE WORSE THAN SHOPPING FOR CARS. GO HERE - DON'T HAVE TO WORRY ABOUT MISSING A SALE. PRICES ARE ALWAYS GOOD. WE LOVE OUR BED AND MY LOWER BACK IS GONE!

SALESMAN EXPLAINED OUR OPTIONS TO SOLVE OUR PROBLEM. THIS ONE WORKED THE BEST. WE ARE VERY PLEASE WITH THE RESULT AND THE PRICE.

PAIN-FREE EXPERIENCE. FRIENDLY, PERSONABLE SALESPERSON WITHOUT THE ''HARD SELL'' APPROACH. MATTRESS ORDERED ON THURSDAY AND DELIVERED ON MONDAY.

WE WENT TO THE STORE IN MACEDONIA. FOUND EXACTLY WHAT WE NEEDED AT A REASONABLE PRICE. THEY HELPED US TIE THE MATTRESSES TO THE VAN AND OFF WE WENT.

THEY ARRIVED WITHIN THE TIMEFRAME THEY PROMISED. THEY VERIFIED THE APPOINTMENT THE NIGHT BEFORE. VERY IMPRESSED BY THEIR SALES STAFF, LACK OF HARD SALES, EASY TO FIND INFORMATION, AND PROFESSIONAL BEHAVIOR. FAIR PRICING.

THE SALESMAN IN THE STORE WAS INFORMATIVE, COURTEOUS, AND THE DELIVERY CAME AT THE BEGINNING OF THE SCHEDULED 3-HOUR BLOCK. THEY ALSO MOVED AN EXISTING MATTRESS TO A DIFFERENT BED FOR US, WHICH THEY DID NOT HAVE TO DO. SO FAR OUR NEW MATTRESS IS VERY COMFORTABLE. WE WOULD GO BACK TO THEM. THEIR PRICES WERE EXCELLENT AND THEIR SERVICE WAS VERY PROMPT AND RESPONSIVE.

I FELT LIKE THEY CARED ABOUT OUR NEEDS. WE FELT COMFORTABLE IN THEIR SHOP. WE WERE PLEASED WITH THIS COMPANY.

THE NEW MATTRESS AND BOX SPRING WERE SET UP VERY QUICKLY AND THE STAFF WERE VERY COURTEOUS.

WE HAD A PROBLEM WITH OUR NEW SET AND THEY CORRECTED THE PROBLEM TO OUR SATISFACTION.

OUR SALESMAN WAS VERY NICE AND FULL OF INFORMATION. WE DIDN''T FEEL PRESSURED. WE BOUGHT A KING AND A TWIN SET. ONLY PROBLEM WE HAD WAS THE SALESMAN HAD A PROBLEM WRITING UP THE ORDER. EASILY RESOLVED. VERY IMPRESSED WITH THE QUALITY FOR THE PRICE.
