T.J. Farinacci & his crew were prompt, professional, & skilled craftsmen. The team laid a hidden concrete edge along the outer pavers to replace the the unsightly plastic border that kept buckling up. After the restoration my patio is absolutely beautiful, it looks brand new!

The product - stone - is beautiful but the install is not what was agreed upon by contract. The patio is not dug to a six inch depth but instead was placed well above the existing grass line. The edging was not completed and the product will likely not last given the poor engineering quality. Additionally, the walkway in the back has a large gap under the gate allowing my dogs to escape - this did not need to be left this way to allow for run off which was your excuse. This change was made without consulting me, that is the greatest issue here, that I was left out of any discussion of supposed changes to plan. I believe your crew just chose the quick and easy way. Do not leave this company unattended on the job as they shortcut the contract.

"Ms. [Member Name Removed] is severely mistaken, The plan is exactly as she requested and made sure by painting out the layout on the lawn the day of the install and was approved by her. Her comments are nothing short of slander As I indicated her lawn slopes down that the area for the sitting area will be cut down into the lawn and raised in the lower part.to accommodate a more level area She is convinced there is not 6 inch of base aggregates. Patio exceeds industry standards. The gap under the gate is to allow the gate to swing in without hitting the walkway I feel that she has a trust issue with contractors. You will not find a more Qualified, Honorable and professional company This project was constructed like all the other hundreds and hundreds of patios that we have installed over the 33 years Angies list does not allow me to post the picture of the finished project which is beautiful and will give her many years off use. I offered to stop by and discuss her concerns and make any adjustments. She declined and felt better writing a negative lying review"

TJ did an excellent job from start to finish. He was responsive from my initial contact, and he has the experience and expertise necessary to give you a quality product. His staff was professional and knowledgeable, as well. The job was completed on schedule and as promised.

The work that T.J. Farenacci completed at our home was excellent. They used some of the pavers that we already had. The pavers were removed, clean and relayed in certain areas. New pavers were also used. I went with T.J.'s paver recommendation and I'm very happy with the results. River rock was also used in some areas where there use to be mulch and that looks 100% better. (Also T.J.'s recommendation) The men showed up promptly each day, and cleaned up before they went home at night. They planted grass where needed when the job was complete. The entire job was handled very professionally. I highly recommend them.

Overall, this was an extremely positive experience. I'm a graphic designer and I am very detail-oriented. In other words, I'm not the easiest person to please, but I have to admit I am so impressed with our new walkway. It's really beautiful! We get compliments from our neighbors, as well as complete strangers all the time. The process started in early August 2017 when TJ came out to meet with me. I showed him a rough drawing of what my husband and I had in mind. He liked our ideas and offered some really good suggestions. He emailed his estimate about 2 days later, then I went out to his Euclid showroom to look at colors and patterns of pavers. The young man there was helpful and answered all of my questions. Soon after, we settled on a design, style and color, and TJ made us feel confident in our choices. About 2-1/2 weeks later, his crew came out to put in the new walkway. The guys arrived early, they were courteous and always professional. David (I believe was his name) completed the majority of the work. He was fast yet meticulous. I really admired his craftsmanship. He cleaned up while he worked and at the end of each day. The project was completed in about a day and a half. The estimate was accurate. We are very thankful for our new walkway which is the focal point of our new front yard landscaping.

TJ came out and gave us a free estimate for work we wanted done. He listened to what we wanted and gave us some suggestions. We visited his showroom and hired him. The work crew showed up promptly when they were scheduled to come. The work was completed in a timely manner, and the results even exceeded our expectations! The work area was cleaned up at the end of the job. The work crew was very professional.

This was a very positive process. TJ provided me with material options to consider before we walked the property. He made a few recommendations regarding the size and material, and we proceeded to schedule the work. His crews came in and removed about 7 truckloads of debris from the back and put in the patio and new front walk. I especially like the recommendation to extend the walkway design up the steps to the front door. They even seeded grass in the areas where the garden had been removed that the patio didn't cover. They worked around other contractors I had there painting the interior of the house. I was advised on how to care for the surface. Everyone who has seen it (especially the before and after pictures) comments on how great it looks. This work was done 6 months ago, and it has held up well so far this winter.

TJ and his crew did a great job on both engagements. They were punctual, finished in the time he said it would be done, did a great job, and kept the site clean each day. I would not hesitate to use TJ again. The price for both jobs was fair and competitive with other estimates I received. TJ also made some helpful suggestions for the design of the new patio.

Over the past few years I've noticed that our sitting wall has started to lean away from the patio. This past summer it was looking pretty bad so I called TJ and had him come out to see the problem and discuss solutions. He made it very clear that the problem had nothing to do with the installation and must be because we did not take care of the patio. He said that we needed to clear the water off of it after every rain. I thought that a well made patio took water into account and was built with drainage in mind. Perhaps not TJ Farinacci's. He then went on to say that perhaps the roots of a tree were disrupting the wall. A tree that I reminded him he initially intended to put the patio around. At this point he basically called me a liar, got angry and left. I had 3 more landscaping companies out to a**** our leaning wall. 2 of them explained that only poor prep and installation could cause the entire wall, uniformly, to lean like that. The 3rd and final landscape guy explained to me that the manufacturer of the materials TJ used changed the way they recommended the installation and that was the reason for the leaning walls. I think it had to do with not starting the wall below the frost line. TJ and his crew followed these instructions, built a beautiful wall but over time those install directions led to our problem. Had TJ explained this to me, we could have discussed a resolution and moved on. Instead, he let me know that under no circumstances was he responsible for our issues and that was that. His dismissive attitude and lack of interest was very disappointing.

"There is unfortunately some wrong information the (Removed members name) have been given. the product in not a masonary wall that is to be built below frost line, It is to be built on aggregate base as manufactures specifications. base compaction and water management are required for a successful project. there was some work that was done around the patio after our completion some time in the 8-9 years after we worked there the property was regarded and built up around the side off the patio damming up water and pooling on patio, which will freeze and heave the wall, that why I said that water needs to be off the patio. (Removed members name) said you never told us that ,I'm not there how am I supposed to tell her. she was not interested in what I was explaining so I said sorry your not pleased but this is not from the result of our installation, other work has been done around the patio in the last 8-9 years causing the issue. They could have called me before other work was performed around patio and I would have been happy to advise them to ensure they manage all that water away from the patio."

We were very impressed with the professionalism of T.J. and the crew. Dave, Bernie, Ryan and Ryan were a pleasure to work with. Answered any questions we had willingly. They showed up every day on time and cleaned up every day before they left. It took 9 days to complete the project with an additional day before to tear down and dispose of the deck. The majority of those days were in the brutal heat on the south side of the house with no shade. Dave and his crews attention to detail was commendable. We would never have imagined our backyard looking so beautiful. A veritable garden oasis. We highly recommend T.J. Farinacci Landscaping Inc.

This was the most courteous, professional and hardworking crew. They showed up on time, got right to work, answered any questions we had each morning and cleaned up after themselves every day. T.J. came out to our house multiple times when we were in the planning process with consultation, re-designs and to answer out questions. He was very patient with us in our decision making process.
We are so happy with the finished patio, and it was a pleasure having the T.J. Farinacci crew here while they did the work. We highly recommend them!

The whole process went smoothly. T.J. was very professional during the interview and biding process. Project was started and completed within the time frame outlined by T.J. Workers were very professional. They arrived early and put in a full day each day they were on the job. The crew had an established process and everyone appeared to know what was expected of them throughout the project. We are very pleased with the outcome. We have received several compliments from our neighbors.

I first found TJ Faranacci Landscaping in late fall, 2014 while doing a search on Angie?s List. I was in need of a reliable contractor who specialized in indoor and outdoor tile work to remove some driveway asphalt and create a small paver ?patio? in front of my front door. Several companies I contacted before I found TJ either could not do the type of work I needed or weren?t interested.
It was obvious from our first meeting that TJ was different from everyone else I?d called.
He was prompt, exceptionally knowledgeable, and completely understood what I wanted. His suggestions for materials, design and installation turned out to be much better than the ones I had thought of so I was very grateful for his advice.
As TJ worked I was so impressed that I asked him to replace an old timber retaining wall along the driveway and replace the entry hall tile and a step up to the living room.
I couldn?t be more pleased with the result. TJ?s staff was very careful not to harm plants and cleaned up the construction area daily.
I will continue to use TJ for similar projects in the future and consider myself extremely lucky to have found him.

Everything went well. All employees were very professional. Took a day longer than originally quoted due to weather conditions and having to do everything manually vs using some machinery to move heavy items. Quality of workmanship was excellent. Totally happy with results.
