I called them and they told me to come in, he took my keys, and about 30 minutes he was back with a new headlight.

I have dealt with this company for many years now. They pinpoint problems before they become real problems.  I also recommend them to new tenants when they come to rent at our rental.

We brought in our 2004 Volvo S60 after our regular mechanic was having trouble diagnosing an intermittent difficulty. Namely, the car would run fine for about a year, then upon random start-up would sputter and die within 2 seconds. After about ten minutes, the car would start as normal and run fine. After sitting in the cold at the regular mechanic's garage for several weeks, the car was having trouble starting at all.
The guys at Swedish Solution took a look at the car during this non-starting period. All they could come up with was the fuel pump, which we'd recently had replaced with a new Volvo-certified pump. They held the car for nearly two weeks until I called to check on the progress because I hadn't heard anything. Lo and behold, the car started up just fine (and probably did for days before that), so they told me to come get it that day. When I asked if a faulty fuel sensor could be the cause of the intermittent problem, they said they didn't check on anything because they expected it to be the (brand-new) fuel pump and it wasn't. If I wanted them to check the fuel sensor or anything else, I'd have to leave the car there indefinitely to see if, one day, it failed to start. If it failed to start, they could run another diagnostic on the fuel sensor--and charge me accordingly.
So, the mechanics checked nothing, fixed nothing, held my car for almost two weeks, failed to communicate, and charged me 125% of the stated diagnostic cost.
Very disappointing. We are looking for a new mechanic, and we had such high hopes for this one. Obviously, we were duped.

I have to confess that I was nervous about anybody working on my car, a 1996 Saab because it's an old Swedish one, not an American one. I assumed that expertise was dying out and parts were becoming scarce. I took the car in because I felt a pop when I started the car one day, and after that the windows, vents, turn signals, and other electrical items didn't work. Also after that, when I would put the car in park, I heard a shrieking noise.
When I dropped off the car, I was immediately impressed at how considerate the employees are. The service was top notch from the moment I walked in. I mentioned the problems the car was having, and the gentleman taking down the information said he heard the shrieking when I pulled in and that it sounded the starter was trying to engage. I mentioned that I was concerned about the age of the car and availability of parts for the old Swedish Saabs, and he reassured me that this is their bread and butter and know these cars inside out.
Because the card had sat in my sister's driveway for two years while my father's estate was settled, he suggested that he look the car over and let me know if some other things needed attention, and I agreed.
They started on the car that day, and I had a call in the afternoon with the full rundown on what was needed and what might be optional. I agreed to the full list and was pleasantly surprised at the cost due to how many things were being fixed. I also got $20 off for letting them install license plate holders advertising Swedish Solution. He said they would be able to complete repairs by the end of the next day, and they were done by early afternoon the next day.
I am fully satisfied with the repairs, and the car drives very well now. In fact, I like this car more than ever since the repairs.
As happy as I am with the repairs, I am equally impressed by how polite and professional the employees behave. I highly recommend them.

The service is excellent and they are very good people to work with. Recently, they did a small repair for us. Their pricing is comparable to any other shop.

My car is a little older. I've been using them for a few years. It is not quite as premium priced as a dealership could be. If they are replacing parts, you can take a look. They're very punctual. They offer courteous loaner cars. They are my primary auto company. I give them high ratings and will continue to use them in the future.

I spoke to Dave several times on the phone about what type of tires and he was so patient and spent time comparing my options and looking up prices. I did compare the price he gave me to another place and Sweedish Solutions was less plus provided me a loaner for no charge. They took me right on time, said it would be about 2 hours and right on time called me to pick up the car. I've had the tires on for over a month without a problem. The last time I had tires installed by a different servicer, there were 2 tires with rim leaks. Thank goodness I finally found a knowledgeable, honest, reasonable, and close by car repair shop.

It went well. We took our car there since the dealer was giving us questionable estimates for repairs. the dealer said that our calipers were rusted and needed to be replaced, and that the compressor switch was bad. the dealer wanted to charge us as much for a switch as a new compressor. Swedish Solutions gave us honest answers and did the job for a fair price.

We have gone to Swedish Solution in Cleveland Heights for several years, first for a VW Golf and now for a Volvo XC70 that we purchased used last summer. When we bought the Volvo with 92,000 miles, we knew there would be repairs in the first year or two since the timing belt was nearly due to be replaced. When Swedish Solution was replacing the timing belt, they noticed problems with the steering rack, but said that it was safe for now, except that we might find our front tires wearing out more quickly. We delayed the repair - an expensive one - for about 4 months and had no problems except for some strange noises in the front. They replaced the rack in one day, gave us a loaner car, and were courteous throughout. It is a friendly, professional place. The cost, however, is pretty high, but it is worth it for the quality of service and responsiveness.

They are good people and I feel comfortable in there. They are very friendly, professional, and they are better priced than if I went to a dealership. If needed, they have a car that I can borrow for free while they are working on my vehicle.

At first we were happy with the service. Then we realized that every time we got the car back, something else was wrong with the car and coincidentally the new problem was near where the previous work was done. We brought this to the attention of the manager, but we were told it was just a coincidence. We ended up finding a new mechanic.

Professional and punctual as always, Swedish Solutions had a loaner car waiting for us when we dropped off our car. After mentioning a couple areas of concern with our car, Spence followed-up by phone after having found nothing wrong (how many times does that occur in the automotive repair business?). The car was ready as promised, and they applied the coupon against the total without having to be reminded. This company continues to impress us, so we will continue to have our car serviced here.

They did the oil change in the time that they said they would. Swedish solution employees are very polite and there prices are less then dealers. I didn't have to wait like or set an appointment like a dealer.

I made an appointment because my ''check engine'' light was on. On the way to the appointment, the light went off. Dave suggested that the light could have been in error. He said he would check things out but would have to charge me for the workup, even if nothing was wrong. I decided to take a chance, and I left, but the light came back on later that day. I went back to the shop, and they were able to fix the problem immediately.
