They did an excellent job.  My experience with them went very well.  They were very professional.  One time we got the appointment screwed up.  I went in on a wrong day or time.  Other than that they did a first class job.  They did what they had to do.  There were few times where we discussed the necessity in inflicting so much pain in my body, but I am glad about it.  I tell other people who are going to have their knee done that they should work like hell and that it will hurt like hell, but they have to do it anyway.  My knee is in good shape now.

I am sorry, but I was compelled to write this as soon as I got home. I realize that everyone has bad days, but my treatment - as a person, not my physical treatment - was nothing short of lousy. I saw therapist James Rosko one time, but unfortunately, that is the only time I will see him. I have never experienced such rude treatment. It started as soon as he came to get me in the waiting room. He did not come over to introduce himself or shake my hand or anything; rather, he just said my name, said, "I'm Jim" and motioned for me to follow him. Then this really set me off: I came into another room that was humming with other patients. Okay; I get that PT works that way sometimes. But here's the exact conversation we had after I left my coat in the waiting room...which seems like the appropriate place to leave your coat: Rosko: Did you want to bring your coat? Me: Is that easier? Rosko: It's your coat. I don't know. Even without his curt speech inflections, you can tell this is an inappropriate way to talk to a patient. Things went downhill for there. Keep in mind that I have done a PT evaluation before. The last therapist asked me many questions to get a good idea of my pain and diagnose the problem. She then explained specifically what was wrong with me. Rosko must have felt like he did not need to do this. He asked me what brought me in, and I said back pain. He asked me how long it had lasted and what caused it. I told me how long but that I wasn't sure when it had started. That was it. I guess he felt he had enough information. He never explained what my problem was, what were the possible causes, and how he planned to treat it. We got started on my exercises. I swear his mind was absolutely elsewhere while he was working with me, but I want to be specific and tangible. We then had another conversation: Me: When did Mandy (my old therapist) leave this practice? Rosko: I have noooooo idea. This day has just been one big blur. (He then paused) Maybe like six months ago. This whole interaction, his whole treatment of me as a patient, his whole interest in my getting better seemed like a distraction to him. There were other smaller things I didn't appreciate either - leaving me for several minutes in a dark room by myself after I had finished my exercises - but I think that's enough. I will not be seeing Mr. Rosko again, and I am telling you that you should look elsewhere if you want to be treated not just as a patient but as a regular human being as well. This review might sound vindictive, but I have never met Mr. Rosko before in my life. I stand by everything I have written here, and would tell the same exact story under oath.

Very successful. Started physio within five days of surgery, walking without crutches on same day. Physiotherapy took into account my desire to be quickly back into my sport.

I came in and was evaluated and measured, how bad was the pain? How far could I move my arm? Etc. I was given exercises to perform and was watched by the Physical Therapy staff. As I progressed, the exercises became more challenging and difficult. At the end of each session, I was put into traction. They put my head in a sling and placed me in a chair that tipped backwards. They wrapped my neck with a moist heat pad and turned on a machine that s-l-o-w-l-y pulled my head up and stretched my neck until I just about couldn't take it, then the machine would release and I would get a moment to rest before it all started over again. I was in traction for about 30 minutes each session. Once I improved and my arm felt better, I was given exercises to do at home and I no longer had to come to the office.
