He conquered the job. We had him replace regular outlets with GFI outlets. One electrician showed up to do the work. He works a day job and does this on the side. It was a little tough to get ahold of him and he worked in the evenings. Some of the things we wanted him to do was outside, so we had to make sure there was adequate daylight.

Tim was amazing and I would highly recommend him!
I had been waiting days and hours for another contractor to
come out to our residence to complete work from an unexpected snow storm. When
the prior contractor finally gave up the job he told me Tim would contact me to
schedule the work.  I had been without
power for 2 days.  Time called me back
within 5 mins and was out to my house within the hour.  He was professional and went right to work.
He gave me a quote of 600-700 prior to going out for
parts.  Kept me informed throughout the
entire process.
He worked non-stop and even when the day light was basically
gone and did what he needed to in order to get us power and heat for the night.
His quote was right on and he didn?t ask for any more or
anything unexpected. 
He was honest and only did the work that was needed.  He even saved our ground wire when another
contractor told us it needed to be replaced.
I will be using him again this weekend I was so impressed
with his work.  You will not be disappointed.

Professional attitude, polite, punctual; did a clean job; fan works well. Will definitely recommend their services and will use them again if need be.

Workers (two) were very prompt, and they completed tasks in a reasonable amount of time.

My service experience with Star Electric was excellent. Tim arranged a convenient time for me. He arrived on time and with all the tools and materials necessary to complete the job. TIm explained what he would do and then he did. He worked quickly and professionally. There was nothing to clean up after he left.
Tim also diagnosed a problem I'd been having with a GFCI outlet in a bedroom. Problem solved.

It went smoothly.

The electrician had difficulty disabling the electrical on one outlet. However, he did eventually complete the job. The medicine cabinet had a dent and was a little bent afterward. However, overall he did a good job.

It took two times to schedule with him and the first time he was scheduled he called after being late for an hour and asked to reschedule. I rescheduled for twoo weeks later and he came late again and was only able to complete half of the work and then said he would come back to finish the work. He never called to reschedule.

I tried to contact Star Electric several times (both phone and e-mail) to set up an appointment.  It finally took a call to Angie's List to get him to call me, even though I had already laid out some money. Once I was on his radar screen, he was very responsive, however. Tim of Star Electric came out a few days before our service date to figure out what he would need to do the job, w  The work involved extensive time in our very cramped attic (too little headroom to stand up, even in the center) to tap into existing power and run lines down to our master bedroom inside the walls.  I was impressed with how Tim, who is big, was able to get into and out of the attic several time, just working his way along the rafters to the far end.  The work was fine.  I installed the lights myself after he put the wiring and switches in.  Shortly after he finished, and I had paid him, I discovered that a plug in our living room (on the other side of the back wall of the closets) was dead.  I called him on his cell, and he turned around and came back, found the problem, and fixed it, immediately.  I appreciated his rapid response to a surprise problem with the work.

Removed and installed new security motion detector lights.

Very well done job.  Would reccomend.

It went well when he got here but I when he was late and I called to remind him about my appointment, he was at another job and had forgotten about me.  He apologized and came to me within 2 hours but could only do half the job and came back the next day to finish.

Tim is now my electrician.  The quality of his work is great, his prices are reasonable given the quality of his work, and he calls me back right away when I call.

Tim showed up on time.  He was friendly and professional.  He repaired both circuits, after doing some troubleshooting.  I stayed with him to flip the switches for the troubleshooting.  He fixed all of the issues, and the circuits are still working to this day.
I wouldn't hesitate to use him again, and actually have had another job quoted from him, which I'm going to have him do as soon as I get the funds.

Get a couple of estimates before you decide on electrical work.  I'm still looking for a fair electrician who does what he says when he says he will do it.

All went well.

It turned out well once the work was done. However, it was a chore getting them to get the appointment scheduled. I would recommend his work to others. You do have to just stay on top of it to get the work scheduled.

Tim was very quick to respond to my phone call.  He was willing to set up a date to do the work based on my schedule.  They did a great job.  the whole process went very smoothly.  We even had them come back and install some landscape lighting.  We would use them again.

The job was done as best he could. He did say we may need an additional brace, and i believe he is right as the fan makes a tinkle noise in the highest setting. I will be calling him to remedy this and feel confident he will do a good job. He also came after and performed some other electrical work for us. Very well priced and work is excellent quality.
