Based on the fact that he did come out, this was last year, about a year ago right now, they came out and looked at it.  They were going to give us an estimate then.  It's been going on for that long, he said, well you need temporarily is a pressure release valve, it's a safety thing for the winter.  I said, okay let's do the furnace replacement later and do this release valve right now as a temporary fix for something and he said, fine.  He did show up and do that in good fashion.  I thought $450 was a bit high.  It was good work, it looked good.  We couldn't get them to commit to a time when it came to scheduling.  He was nice and clean, and knowledgeable.

I called Staples and got The Plumbing Source.  They asked me how I got their name and I told them in the phone directory.  I was told that the trip would cost $75 and then they would calculate it from there with the cost of replacement parts and time spent.  They replaced the two cartridges in my bathroom faucet.  I looked up the cost of the cartridge from the discarded packaging.  It was
listed at $9.27.  The service took less than ten minutes.  They sat in the truck for another fifteen minutes.  I called the shop to speak with the owner/manager.  I was told he was not available and to leave a message.  I asked him to call me back.  He never did.  Since then the drip has stopped but the handles of the faucet are out of allignment.

They were excellent.  Dan did a good work and found a few additional things with no extra charge.  I would hire him again.

I have used them three times. They ran a pipe to pull external combustion air, another when my ac was out of freon and a third to replace a valve on my water heater. They are great but a bit pricey.

They are very clean and friendly.  Explains everything to you in detail.  Only issue is a $65 fee to come out to give a quote.  However, it is refunded if you have work done.  Would call them again for any plumbing needs.

Staples Plumbing, Inc. are always on time and are extremely professional. They've always solved the problem. They keep in contact with you, to keep you posted, as far as what's going on or in case they don't have a part. They let you know when it's coming in. I've used them for 20 years. They're the only plumber that I call. When we bought the house ten years ago, they did all the plumbing in the house. They put in water heaters and all that.

Staples is wonderful to work with.  They always call when the service people are on the way, and it's always within the time window they previously gave.  The two gentlemen who did the check were completely professional, friendly, clean, and well spoken.  They were quick and efficient.  They made some adjustments to the furnace and advised me on the best filter to use.

They were expensive but they were worth it.  When they put the pantry back together they did a really good job.  They called the day before they came to let me know when they would be here.  They called me on the day they came out and told me that they would be at my house in 15 minutes.  I like them and I would definitely use them again.

The water supply line that runs through the basement ceiling to the outside hose line began to leak and then spray A LOT of water inside the house.  The Staples plumber determined that the line must have frozen last winter, began leaking slowly and then split at some point.  He replaced the existing hose bib with an industrial bib and made sure that the line was properly angled down so that any remaining water would drain out when we shut the water supply off for the the winter season.  On time, explained everything, very professional.  They're not always the cheapest, but we've used them a number of times for different plumbing installation and fix-it work and have never had a complaint.

The Staples people were unaware, of course, of the mistakes made and were sincerely concerned and apologetic.  Our most recent expenses were creditted back and they gave us a gift certificate " if we would choose to trust them to do work for us in the future".  A representative came to our home to examine our heating system to find clues to how the error could have occurred to prevent similar situations from reoccurring. 

Of course, all of this does not make it perfect, but I am not foolish or unforgiving enough not to realize mistakes happen.   In a perfect world I would be compensated for hundreds of dollars more for expense, lost service and such.  That is the stuff of litigation which treads the line between what is right and what is vindictive/ethically wrong supported by legal action.  I for one am satisfied with this outcome and will certainly use them again...... for plumbing or electrical, though.  I will give my business to the other Heating and Cooling company as it is so well deservd.

They installed it properly and fixed the inside of it.

The plumber brought in a camera to survey a sewer line that had a history of plugging. The camera survey revealed an exit point different from a previously assumed exit point. Since we were anticipating basement water proofing as well as a new basement floor, it was crticial to discover the exit point of the old sewer line. The camera determined an exact location and facilitated the destruction of the old sewer line and the construction of the new line. Sean Beale, the plumber was very knowledgeable about the problem at hand and offered a very fair price as well as sound recommendations through out the project. In addition, the plumbers removed a cast iron sewer stack and replaced it with plastic. Sean was very careful with the project since it was possible that loose pipes could have resulted in damage to walls and plumbing fixtures. He climbed to the roof to check on the stack outlet and used his assistant to snap the old sewer stack out and install the new. Entry to existing walls was minimal. A very competent excavation was necessary to replace a section of old clay pipe with new plastic. I observed Sean and the excavator noting the location of a gas line while carefully working around it. New inside sanitary sewer lines were laid and appropriate code approved drains, vents, and clean outs were installed. Further, a dormant water line was fished under the foundation and brought inside of the basement so that a future water hook up could be installed. Old plastic valves were replaced with copper and some copper plumbing were rerouted with complete success. A first class double laundry tub was mounted on the basement wall that made for a very efficient laundry facility. Drains and hookups were completed. All fixtures and fittings were of high quality. The fittings were not sweated into place. They were placed with a new state of the art compression tool. No solder drippings were noted. All and all, this consumer was very pleased to use Staples for rather extensive work. Seal Beal was excellent as the foreman of the job. He was polite, notified the ower of his intentions and cleaned up after his work. In addition, his assistants were very polite and did excellent work upon Sean's direction. It is with considerable enthusiasm that I recommend this VERY PROFESSIONAL company to others.

They have always done a great job. The plumbers are friendly and professional. They always put plastic covers on their shoes before entering my home and clean up any messes that are made as a result of the work being done.

This company's price was way over the top for the job. The plumber completed the job within 5-10 minutes and we were charged a whopping $166.00. The company charges a $65.00 "trip" charge which is ADDED to the job charge. After checking with four other plumbing companies I found that Staples price was 65-75% higher for the same job. Although I knew about the service charge in advance, I was floored by a charge of $101.00 for a 5 minute job! Ask specific questions before choosing a plumber!

Excellent work, cleaned up after themselves, wore little bootys in the house to make sure they didn't drag in dirt. Even though another company made mistakes in performing certain tasks they were supposed to perform, Staples assisted and went beyond what one would expect. My experience they are professional, courteous and gave us a reasonable estimate.
