On the first occasion, I ordered flowers to be delivered to her department within the hospital for my Wife's birthday. I left instructions in the order, and called to confirm the order and the directions to make sure the driver knew where to deliver the flowers. As luck would have it, I got out of work early that day and was able to meet her at work that evening (4:30pm). The flowers hadn't been delivered yet, so I called to see what was going on. They couldn't get a hold of the driver so I drove to the shop. The driver came back 10 minutes after I got there, saying he tried to deliver the flowers, but no one was there. This wasn't true as I left the shop with the flowers to pick up my wife from work so we could go out for dinner. The owner refunded my delivery charge.
On the second occasion, my anniversary, I went through the same process, expecting different results. I ordered almost 2 weeks in advance and left specific directions to the department in the order. The shop called me to confirm the order and to ask for specific directions to the department. I thought this was going to be a success. The day of delivery came, and 4:45pm came without a delivery. I called the shop. After a 10 minute conversation, the owner finally found my order and informed me that although the order called for delivery that day, it had been placed in the delivery schedule for the next day. I went to another florist immediately to pick up a bouquet to deliver on my own.
The owner apologized profusely and refunded my purchase. I will never use this florist again.
Update: They sent me an apology letter and a gift card for a future delivery.

Meeting went well; Jamie was nice and had great advice. I followed up several days later with measurements for her to provide a quote. A week had gone by and I had not yet received my quote. I called and left a message for Jamie asking where my quote was. She left me a voicemail indicating the owner had surgery and that I would get it in a few days. It's a week later and I still have not received a quote.
