The bathroom is an upstairs 4'X8' second bathroom. All of the demolition was done by us prior to us getting a quote. All we needed to be done was a LEVEL floor put in, drywall hung, and new vanity and toilet installed. We were quoted a price in early October, we paid in full (big mistake) with the work to be completed as soon as possible. After a month of waiting Sears finally called and told us our installation would begin on Dec. 19, at 9 AM, so my husband took the day off work to be home. At about 11 AM on Dec. 19 Sears called and let my husband know that the installer was not going to be able to start until the next day. Had my husband known this much earlier he could have gone to work and not wasted a vacation day! We had to purchase our own toilet because they only could get us white (we wanted black). We ordered the vanity through Sears, but on the day of installation (December 20), we were told there was a mistake and instead a medicine cabinet had been ordered and we would have to wait for the bathroom to be completed an additional 6-8 weeks. Being that we paid in full and we already waited over a month for the installation to begin and now we would be waiting an additional two months for the vanity my husband asked for the "boss" to call him and discuss what could be done. The boss never called us even though we were assured he would be in touch. We had the installer go ahead and complete everything except the vanity so we could at least have the bathroom to use. During the installation, the hot water line got broken and all the water went into the garage below onto my husband's garage computer, workbench, and stereo. The computer and stereo were both very old, so we told him not to worry about the damages. After the installer was finished he left, never asked us to check or sign off on the work. The floor is not level (2" in 4' slope), we have no vanity (so you can't wash your hands), the room was left with drywall dust all over, and we still have not heard from the "boss". When we called today to ask for the installer to come back to make the floor level we were told he will get to it when he has a chance! This was not a difficult project, it was supposed to be completed in 2 days and it as been a nightmare!!!!!!!

We had a problem with our front-loader washer.  I contacted Sears and  bought a service plan that offered me 1 year of service. The first serviceman came out and found the problem but needed to order a part.  For the second appointment  the serviceman came to the door, did not knock or ring the bell, left a note and left.  Nice... took the day off of work and then he refused to come back even though we called him 10 minutes after he had left the note. So far not too impressed.  Then, anotherv1.5 weeks later for our new appointment, the workman came out and supposedly fixed our washer.  When we went to use it and water was pouring out of the washer and there was a banging sound coming from inside.  By now it is Thanksgiving and with a house full of babies and adults it was out of control.  I had resolved that I needed to go out on Black Friday and buy a new washer since we were in a crisis mode.  Before the big purchase, we decided to open the machine ourselves and check to see if we could possibly fix the problem since we were going to discard it anyway.  Well, low and behold, we found that the last serviceman did replace the part, but did not attach the part to the drain.  Either this guy is so incompentent that he could not fix a simple problem or he intentionally left the part hanging which could have caused a fire, etc... along with the flood that occured in the laundry room and ultimately our basement.  Very poor servicemen and customer service.  I had to write a letter to actually get this taken care of and now I am in the process of filing a claim with Sears's insurance company.  Buyer beware.  The deal was too good to be true...

Part of the crew left early, the trim was incomplete, several windows were installed incorrectly and had to be redone, there were two leaks 6 months after the installation, and the company refuses to fix the repairs.
