Mr. Saxon did an excellent job - very respectful and enthusiastic about the history of the ring, and did a great job of returning the ring to what it probably looked like almost 100 years ago. I got several options and good information about what the work would entail, and it was finished in a very timely manner. I would highly recommend Saxon's.

I own an entry level luxury watch that I dropped on a tile floor and shattered the crystal. I wanted to have it replaced. Saxon completed the repair, and also cleaned the watch to insure it was fully operational. Overall, the communication was great, and he kept the watch for some extra time to make sure it was fully running. I appreciated the attention to detail.

Mr Saxon was wonderful!  I had asked a previous master jeweler about resizing my wedding ring and was told it too challenging to resize such a complex,  multimetal woven band.  Mr. Saxon got back to me quickly, set up an appointment and immediately confirmed that he would be able to fix it.  When I got it back it was perfect!  Beautiful work, seamlessly completed and I will be proud to wear it

Michael did what we needed in a single day:  cleaned, appraised, and repaired Mom's diamond engagement/wedding ring and repaired another. When we presented Mom's ring, Michael let us look through the loupe at the ring's beauty (e.g., showing us the hand-engraving we didn't know existed) and small flaws in the work that make it unique. Very patient and comfortable with all our questions.  When we went to pick up the rings, they were so lovely. Cannot rate his pricing as I've never before done jewelry appraising; we went with him vs. shopping around based on Angie's reports, nearness to home, and his pleasant business manner..

They did the work on the spot and did not take long. I went with a relative and we each had one jewelry item

Michael was wonderful. My engagement ring was actually somewhat lopsided (not made by Saxon), so the custom band he created had to be carefully made so it would fit. It fits perfectly. He also recommended a small inlay of diamonds that complement the engagement ring perfectly. My husband's ring is very nice (combination of metals) and has worn very well. I would absolutely use him again.

I went to the shop and was treated with great care by the owner/jewelry designer/gemologist Michael Saxon. He was credentialed and has much experience with vintage and newer jewelry. He rated all of the gems and setting, cleaned and polished them and gave a very detailed written appraisal for every item, with photos. The work that he performed was much more accurate and thorough than the other appraisers that I used. He explained every item, and detailed the cost of repairs. Would definitely trust him to do the repairs and plan to do so.

Absolutely excellent.  The price is reasonable.  We have use them before and they always provide excellent work.  The work they provide is always beautiful.

Couldn?t have been better.  Mike carefully explained what needed to be done for both items and the cost of each repair.  He estimated about a week to complete the work, but called me only 2 workdays later to say it was done.
The only slightly difficult part was finding the location as the local directions within the business park are not too good.  Mike said he has considered putting a better map on his site and that would be a good idea.

After shopping several jewelers, I settled on Saxon due to his capabilities (an in house work facility), plan of action and his willingness to listen. Michael replaced the original.yellow gold prongs with white gold (stronger alloy) which did not degrade the appearance at all, remounted the diamond a bit higher and cleaned & polished everything so it dazzled more than ever! All under his estimate and within his predicted time. We plan on having him work on some more pieces for us in the near future.

Michael Saxon was most professional. I was very impressed. He did a great job. If I ever have repairs again he is my first choice.

Originally I went to Saxon's for a ring repair.  The ring had been repaired twice before at another jeweler and I needed to find someone that would have a permanent solution.  That was over a year ago and the ring is still in perfect condition.  While I was there though and saw some of the fantastic work that Mike has done, I decided to bring in an old cocktail ring with multiple gemstones that wasn't something I ever wore to see what ideas he might have.  He designed the most spectacular, unique bracelet with scalloped edges and incorporates all the gemstones.  He was so easy to work with, would work around my schedule to meet with me and it was just such a pleasure to work with someone so creative that produced a one-of-a-kind piece of jewelry that is timeless and can be treasured in the family for generations.
