Santa Fe Automotive Speclsts

This is one of many times I have brought my auto in for service at Santa Fe Automotive. Every time I have had an excellent experience and this time was some more of that quality work. I like the fact that I can trust an auto mechanic to tell me the straight scoop and not try to con me out of some money. I drive much further than I usually would for auto care, but I am really happy with the service, the low price, and the straight talk I receive.

They come and pick my car up, so that I can drive my other car when I needed and they drop it back off. They are hard to reach on the phone. When they get really busy, they take the phone off the hook, which drives me nuts. The owner is very knowledgeable and experienced. He has been around for 20 years and he is a mechanic. He does a really good work at a really reasonable price.

I called Ray (the owner) and set up an appointment to drop off my son's car to have the brakes serviced. I called the next morning to see what needed to be done, and Ray told me exactly what he would do and quoted me a very fair price, without the very high-priced diagnostic fees of the two other big-name places I had been using. Ray only does what really needs to be done, unlike the aforementioned facilities. I picked the car up later that afternoon, and it was done as promised at probably much less than half the price of the big-name places I had been going to. I am very happy with the results and will use this company whenever possible.

A different company had specified a valve assembly need to be replaced. A smoke test detected a leak in the value assembly. Santa Fe discovered a different fix that was cheaper to do. We took the car to them to with an orignial estimate of $120, but they replaced just the vaccum line saving us $80. Because of service like this, we will continue to take our car into them.

I had the van towed into Santa Fe Automotive on Monday, 4/19/2010. The necessary parts were ordered that day and the van was repaired by noon on the following day $/20/2010. I know the part was expensive, so, I was expecting to pay about twice the amount that I paid. The labor cost was reasonable for the major work that had to be performed. I have brought my cars into Santa Fe over the last six years and found the repairs to be performed in a professional manner at a reasonable price. I also like the fact that the owner/operator, Ray, is someone I can trust.

They are very good. They answer any questions I have, are very professional, and I would use them again.
