SANDSTONE RESTORATION

We called owner Bob Barno and said we would like him to clean the sandstone front of our house. When we moved in 11 years ago we had new siding installed and had the window shutters removed. We thought the cleaner outlines would soon fade, but NO. We finally decided to have the entire area cleaned. Bob came out and said he could do the job in one day and would clean up well after himself. He explained that the cost was partly because he had to haul a lot of equipment (including diesel generator) to each site. He said he would show up when he had other jobs in our area. When he and his helper showed up they did a very detailed and thorough job of protecting doors, windows, siding etc. using plastic sheets, tarps, tapes, etc. When they were done the sandstone looked perfectly clean. Very little sand remained on the ground.

THE FINISHED RESULT WAS EXCELLENT. CLEANUP WAS OK, BUT COULD HAVE BEEN IMPROVED. EXPECT A QUITE A BIT OF SAND TO BE LEFT ON THE PROPERTY. ALSO, THIS IS ONE MESSY TYPE OF JOB - BE PREPARED.

HE IS AN ARTISAN. I COULDN'T TELL THAT MY BRICK HAD BEEN STAINED AFTER HE FINISHED. NO ONE ELSE COULD HAVE DONE THIS JOB.
