RiseNShine Bathtub & Tile Refinishing

Very happy with the work that Jorge and his helper did on the refinishing of our tub. Aside from a few 5 min breaks, they worked nonstop 9-5! They were very professional, courteous, made sure they masked/covered everything in the bathroom, and didn't cut any corners. I was very impressed with the work performed and how great the tub now looks! Probably looks better than the day it was installed in 1950!

I told them what I needed done. I was given a clear price and they gave me a quote for some other work. The work was done in the time they said they would do it and with high quality. I would hire again.

George is very nice and does excellent work. 

After stripping tub Jorge told us it didn't need to be re-glazed. The original finish was beautiful. So it cost us less than the estimate!!! What a pleasant surprise. They were professional, personable, and hard working. Highly recommended and have already suggested RiseNShine to family and friends.

We are very satisfied. They arrived on time and completed the work within their estimates even though our tub presented some challenges because the finish was worn completely through in some places.

The owner came along with a worker. They were very careful and made sure all surfaces were covered. Our tub now looks brand new. The owner and his worker spent a good 7 or more hours making sure the end product was beautiful. Definitely a great value for services rendered. I would highly recommend this company and would use them again.

Jeorge and his assistant arrived on time. They were neat and organized. After stripping the bath tub he showed me that it was in excellent condition and didn't need refinishing. He charged me $160 less than his estimate. I am very pleased with the results.

Jorge arrived when scheduled and immediately set to work removing the nine-year old, previous refinishing job.  He spent seven hours nonstop, not even for lunch, scrubbing away.  Unexpectedly, when that part of the job was complete, he asked me to look at it, because he found it impossible to apply new finish effectively.  He wanted me to see the effect of his clean up and consider his discovery that someone had treated it long before the previous refinishing job with Teflon, which he had no way to remove.  He had removed all the caulk around the tub to clean up the edges.  He recommended that I not pay for new finish.  His opinion was that it would not bond properly to the Teflon and that the tub, now thoroughly cleaned up, looked awfully good, so that refinishing would not make much of a difference.  If I accepted it as it had come out to that point, he would do "a really nice" recaulking job and charge me the original estimated price for the refinishing job, but if I wanted him to refinish it anyway, he would charge an addition $250 or $250.  He had already worked several hours longer than he originally projected the entire, earlier planned job to take.

I agreed with him.  The cleaned tub looked better than the previous refinishing job had left it.  I agreed to pay his estimate price for refinishing.  His promised "very nice" recaulking job was indeed very nice, in fact the very best caulking job I had ever seen.  I was and remain delighted with the result in every way, delighted with the price, and grateful for his craftsmanship and unstinting personal effort and commitment.

Prompt, courteous, helpful. It looks like they did a great job. Haven't used it yet, but it looks good.

They sent two techs out. They did a great job -- the tub looked brand new! It took about 5-6 hours to do. The only issue was that he had to come back to clean up some more, 2-3 weeks later. He was a bit rude when he came back to clean up the rest of the mess. We also had to pay him more when he came back to clean, which I didn't appreciate. He complained about how much gas he had to use when he came back and yelled at my wife.

Jorge was very professional. The process was all done in a day and the end product was beautiful. Our 45 yr old tub looks brand new.. Jorge gives great advice on how to care for refinished tub and what products may be safely used on the tub. Only downside was the strong chemical odors but they were gone by evening and by just leaving windows open and using fans. Jorge has equipment that helps to vent the heavy odors outside while he is working in that enclosed bathroom area. We were very impressed.

He was friendly and professional and did a FANSTASTIC job. My tub looks like it is brand spankin' new! I love it.

Jorge was on time and did a great job. The paint material used to refinish the shower had an extremely strong chemical odor- it wasn't possible to ventilate the area very well, so that was the only downside.

He showed up on time. He had an assistant who he was also training. They were both respectful and courteous. The work was pretty labor intensive and they completed the job that evening. I will say that people should be aware of the fumes. They were pretty overwhelming at times. The workers used an exhaust fan and it did help. However, the house smelled like the chemicals for a few days. The end result is a stunning refinish so it was worth it. I'd use them again.

I called Jorge made an appointment the moment I got the property. It was easy to get an appointment, but I did not have the water on when he came. It was a HUD house, I had reschedule the appointment with no problem a month later. He sent out Ken to complete the job it took about 2 hrs from cleaning and preparation of the tub. The actual finish coating does have a very strong smell so I suggest you leave the house after the job is completed. Ken had a fan to exhaust but the order was still overwhelming to me. This bathroom did not have windows or a fan, so he had to use the window in the bedroom next door. The house was empty, so no problem he cleaned up and it was like he was never there. The rusted out tub looked like a NEW TUB with the finish redone, shinny and new. I decided to change out the old tub surround because it really looked dingy with the NEW WHITE FINISH I am truly amazed at the difference. I had no problems renting out this suite. The guy did excellent work, it looked like a brand new tub when he was finished. It took him just about a day to complete. The scheduling was easy and I had no problems with them. This was the first time I had used them and I would use them in the future.

Jorge came out with his worker and made my bathtub look like new. He was very good about giving me care instructions for the first 30 days and afterwards. I asked him about other repairs that could be made and he was very helpful and frank about what could be done and how it would look afterward. He did an excellent job.

He was over 3 hours late to begin with. They oversprayed everything, this furniture was just a month old. We had asked them to come back and clean everything up but they explained it would cost them extra.  I tried to take them to court and they refused the summons so we had to reissue. Throughout the whol process he was arguing with me about everything. I would not recommend them to anyone.

Service was great and professional. They arrived on time and finished the job on time. Cleaned up all the mess. I would recommend them to others.

Service was great. He was on time and prepared to work. I was nervous that he would forgot our appointment as we made it almost a month in advanced but he didn't and was there. He worked without any problems and there was no major mess in the bathroom afterwards. I have already referred him to serval other people.

The tub was very rusted, the re finisher (George) was extremely conscientious. Kept work area clean and did a beautiful job. Left no mess behind.

George from Rise-N-Shine is the true professional, very dedicated to my work, very amicable, hard working. Took all day to resurface my bathtub to look better than new. Five star performance.
