Re-Bath

Re-bath Over charged my parents at least $8,000 probably more for what should have been a simple Shower insert install. All the demo was done & the debris removed by other contractors. A shower insert (2) guys and a day of install time $14K but hey there is a lifetime warranty on the work. Buyer beware the sales people will rip you off if you let them.

I requested assistance on the Home Depot website last year for a bathroom remodel. As a result, I was connected with Re-Bath for the project. I had a Re-Bath consultation in October 2022, and a shower installed in December. Our salesperson at the consultation went through all the details and told us that our loan was 0% interest for a period of time. We only went through with this purchase because of the 0% interest. After making my second payment today, I noticed I was being charged interest. I double checked the original paperwork, and unfortunately, this salesperson did write in 9.99% interest. When reviewing the paperwork we were signing and explaining what each signature was for, he told us yet again that it was a 0% interest loan. This is my mistake for not taking more time to read the paperwork myself, but I thought I could trust what this salesperson was saying. The end result of the shower was great, so it’s disappointing this is how they do business.

The salesman said they would install within 6 to 10 weeks. However, it took them 3 weeks to send someone for the final measurements which means nothing was happening for 3 weeks. They just made the 10 week deadline. The quality of the product is good and the installers were excellent and completed both installations in 8 hours. The communication from the company was non-existent and seriously lacking. The price was high and if I hadn't been in such a hurry to convert existing showers in our newly acquired home, I would have spent more time shopping. I knew Re-Bath having used them in a previous home, where the quality and price was very good, but now they have pushed the price to a level which is outrageous.

That was fine, the guy was punctual and very wiling, there was a problem and he went above and beyond to help. They were one of the only companies that offer the service, I think he was very conscientious and the problems that was encountered, he went above and beyond to make sure it was taken care of.

The installer called the morning that he was to do the installation and said he was sick, saying he had been sick the evening before and wanted to reschedule. I had taken a vacation day to be home for this and didn't appreciate his calling at the last minute. I said that I wouldn't reschedule and expected him to arrive on time. He did the work and somehow got better as the work progressed. A miracle!!
I thought the job was overpriced but it was my mothers house at the time.

They were very professional. They made great suggestions. They even did a few things that weren't on the contract just to make the job look better. They really above and beyond.

I'm very impressed with the quality of the work and materials... almost a year later the work still looks brand new.

After an initial dispute on what services were going to be provided work finally proceeded. The dispute was due to the promises made by an inexperienced salesman. The company owner adjusted the price and we decided to proceed because at that point further delay by finding a new installer would probably have taken us well past the timeframe we wanted.. One of the installers was somewhat brusque initially, and complained that t hey were being required to do more than what they usually do. The second installer was very professional. He came back after the installation to make an adjustment on the shower door due to a splash out problem we were experiencing. He also made sure we received a replacement for a towel bar which had a minor blemish. We would probably not go with re-bath again be cause we are not sure the product is really better than the Sterling shower enclosure we installed in our basement bathroom. This is not a knock on rebath as we are satisfied, overall, with what we got. One day in and out is certainly a plus. We love the look of our new shower but reserve our opinion on quality until we have some time with the product.. On a final note, we believe it is a company's responsibility to make sure that their employees are well versed in what services the company can and cannot provide. Even though a price adjustment was made we would have gone with another firm had we known up front that some of the work we had counted on being done would not be done. In the long run we ended up spending more than we would have if we had gone with one of our other Angie list contractors.

They were very efficient and were careful to not mess up the other work I had had done around the house. I was very happy with them. They were professional, neat, and easy to work with. I would recommend them to others.

They did a very nice job! I had some problems with light fixates, but new ones should be on the way. Everything turned out very nicely!

They did a good job. They did a wonderful job. We are very happy with what they did. It held up wonderfully. They had to come out one time and it wasn't their fault at all. They put up the cock with the panels, the cock started turning like orange in color. That was a problem with the manufacturer. So they came out and redid all that. We haven't had a problem since then. I guess the manufacturer had something wrong with it because it was reacting to the air and turning orange in color. So it wasn't their fault really and they did correct it. We looked on Angie's list and they had good ratings. That's one of the reasons we went with them. They came out and gave us the estimate. We went to their showroom to see the different panel options available. They had varieties and it's also very low maintenance. We just have to clean the panels and shower walls, and it looks beautiful. It looks like a marble finish with the tile. I would definitely use their services again in the future.

It went very well. The salesman was professional and prompt. We received samples of the product and all questions were answered completely. We received a fully itemized estimate. Since we had an estimate from the prior year, the price differences were explained, also. The installer was prompt and courteous. He worked quietly and quickly. The installation quality was good and as expected. The installer laid down tarps to protect the flooring and rugs. He cleaned up well after completing the job, including sweeping the garage floor where he had cut the panels and drywall. Our installation took approximately 7 hours from arrival to departure. Price-wise, I found Rebath to be competitive with similar competitors for this type of renovation. After 3 months of usage, we have found no issues.

The work turned out very good. We got multiple quotes on it, and compared to other contractors, we liked their price. They came in and measured one day, and six weeks later, they came back with it; the work was done in about half a day. We liked the lifetime warranty on the tub surround that came with it. We would use them again in the future if necessary.

He destroyed out toilet and seat when I wanted to save the special seat that I had paid $100 for. He broke it without asking if I wanted to save it. He was all alone and that was a lot of work for one person. He was short and the shower unit was very tall to the ceiling. He struggled a lot by himself. In the end it looked gorgeous but the caulking around the outside and the toilet were horrible messy looking. I had to redo them by someone else. He complained a lot and was very defensive when I told him about destroying a $100 toilet seat. So it looks great but I don't think he was professional. We have used this company before and they covered a tub and were fantastic, fast and efficient. Obviously a different person and it was a couple of years before.

This company is fine. They did a nice job. The installer was very nice and pleasant. He answered all of my questions and did a great job. I do not have any complaints about this company!
