Public Storage 26420 Expert Moving Cota

I reserved a truck with Budget Truck Rental online and arranged to pick up the truck at the Public Storage facility in Bedford Heights, OH. I chose Budget because it was the closet facility to where I needed to pick up some furniture, and it was one of few open on Sunday. I made the reservation about 10 days in advance and called a few days ahead of time to confirm. The reservation was for 10:00 on a Sunday morning, and this was one of the few truck rental facilities open on a Sunday. This reservation was for a one-way rental from Cleveland to Columbus. On the Sunday morning, I left Columbus early so that I could be in Bedford Heights by 10:00 a.m. I arrived a few minutes before 10, and at 10:00 the facility was not open. I waited..and waited and waited. I called Budget's 800 number but they were of no help. Finally, at 10:35 the facility opened. I was first in line for a truck rental. They said they had the reservation in their system, but no truck. The previous renter wasn't due to return the sole truck available until 2:00, when the facility closed! The Budget personnel were unsympathetic to my plight and totally unhelpful. I called Budget's customer service, but they were of little help. They couldn't locate a truck available at another Budget location within 40 miles. Luckily, I ended up finding a nearby U-Haul location, with available trucks, great service and lower rates. I will never ever use Budget Truck again.
