My dog is always happy to go when he is picked up for boarding.  He is always picked up on time and returned on time. I have also used Pet Taxi for walks when I will not be at home.  All in all the service is excellent. I have recommended Pet Taxi to friends and they have been equally pleased.

I contacted Pet Taxi early the week of 11/10 to schedule an appointment on 11/15 to have 2 of my long-haired cats groomed and bathed. At the time of scheduling, I was quoted a price of $80 ($40 per cat) and was given a two options to drop off/pick up my cats: a 2-hour morning slot and a 2-hour afternoon slot. The idea of the 2-hour slot is that my cats wouldn't have to be there all day and be stressed out/uncomfortable, especially around the dogs that would be there for grooming, which made perfect sense. I signed up for the afternoon slot.
Saturday arrived and we called to switch to the morning slot and Pet Taxi was able to accommodate our request. Where things went south is that my husband dropped off our cats at 10:30 AM and didn't get a call to pick them up until a little past their close time at 4 PM. So our cats sat there all day. My husband actually dropped off the cats and said the facility did not seem particularly clean and there was a strong animal odor being masked by several candles.
When we picked them up, the cost for one of the cats was $60 instead of $40, because apparently bathing is $20 extra. It was explained to us, via a phone call after we paid and took the cats home, that they typically don't bathe cats that aren't front declawed. However, I was asked if my cats were front declawed when I scheduled the appointment, and I told them no -- had they told me they could not bathe my cats, I would have never scheduled the appointment. That was the main reason we took them to a groomer. However, one of the employees inadvertently gave one of my cats a bath because they did not know they weren't supposed to bathe cats with front claws.
When we got the cats home, the cat that got the bath still had a bunch of mats on the underside of her belly that we had to cut out with scissors. Our other cat didn't even appear to have been groomed. He was still covered in mats and was not bathed. After talking with the owner, we were told that cat was difficult to groom and they did the best they could. As far as I could tell, they did absolutely no grooming for our second cat. They did not even attempt to shave or cut out any of his mats. As far as I'm concerned, it was a complete waste of money. And he had to sit there all day and endure unnecessary stress.
Pet Taxi did offer to let us bring back our cats and try to and quot;groom them togetherand quot; at no additional cost, but frankly, I was not comfortable taking my cats back to their facility. In my opinion, they do not seem very knowledgeable when it comes to cat grooming and I will not be wasting any additional time or money with this company.

Been going to them for many years. They are just the best people. Do a great job. Our dog is never traumatized. There are others closer to us but wouldn't go anywhere else. They do exactly what you ask them to do and they do it well.

I have been using Pet Taxi for weekday walking and grooming since 2004, and I have been very pleased with their service. I am writing now because two times in the past six months, someone has commented to me about how good my golden retriever looks. They said I must spend lots of time brushing her. The truth is, I almost never brush her these days, and both comments came the day before she was scheduled for grooming at Pet Taxi! The groomers do great work, and it lasts a long time!

They always do a great job with trimming nails. We have a Basset Hound and the one area they need the most scrubbing was their ears. Unfortunately, whoever washed her did not do a great job and I had to end up doing it myself. The reason I took her back was because the last time we had a good experience and I have shoulder surgery that prevented me from washing her. So, it ended up being just as much work for me by the time I got the dog in the car and to the agency.

I might try them again and hope this feedback will help them improve services.

This is the second time we used this service and it was great! Our dog is anxious--she thinks it is the vets--but the staff are kind with her and she smells great.

This was the second time that I used Pet Taxi. The first time the service was adequate and the price was reasonable. This time it was a nightmare. I dropped my dog off and didn't get a call to pick her up until 5 hours later. They charged me $60 instead of the $50 that they had the previous time because they said she needed a lot of brushing. My dog was so frantic, that I paid, tipped and left before I could look her over. When I got her home I was shocked to discover that none of her mats had been removed and that a burr that I'd noticed that morning was also still in her fur. Also, the shave was extremely choppy with long tufts sticking out here and there. I called to complain, and was told that the regular groomer was in the hospital, and I was offered the opportunity to return the following week. I thought about it over the weekend, and decided that their groomer would still not have returned, and that I needed to have my dog groomed correctly. I called on Monday and asked for my money back. The woman agreed and told me to leave my address. After several calls, I finally received a check three weeks later, but was shocked to see that it was only for $25.00. I had been very cordial and understanding up until then, but this pushed me over the edge. I called to complain and Tamarra said that she had to pay her help for the shampoo and "fluff?" I told her that I had had to pay another grooming service full price to have my dog re-done and that the groomer had been appalled when she saw the job that Pet Taxi had done. I requested the balance of my payment by mid-week, or I would call the Better Business Bureau, and the Vet that had recommended their services, and that I would not pass up an opportunity to describe my experience to other dog owners and service providers. To this Tamarra yelled, "I want you to come up here right now and get your money, and then I never want to see you again!" I was so shocked by her tone that I told her that I would not see her, and that I needed the check mailed to my home.

Tamarah came over the next day to get my key and look around, took notes. Seemed hurried, but friendly (she had a dog in the van). Seemed to get everything down, but maybe I needed to be more specific. One of my plants died--not sure if this was just going to happen anyway or she didn't water it. Food all over the floor (near bowls) in kitchen. Only scooped solid waste from litter box. Did not recycle cat food cans. Overall, the cats were fine and I might use Pet Taxi again for sake of convenience, but I would be more specific about my wishes.

They did a very nice job. One of the nice things they do is give you a journal of things that occurred.

Pet Taxi is great. They are responsive to all of the needs of me and my dog.

PET TAXI HAS EXCELLENT EMPLOYEES AND THEY TRULY CARE AND LOVE THE ANIMALS THEY TAKE CARE OF. IT'S ABOUT $15 FOR A ONE TIME WALK - THEY WILL WALK AND PICK UP AFTER YOUR PET, FEED HIM, COLLECT YOUR MAIL AND EVEN WATER YOUR PLANTS DEPENDING ON HOW LONG YOU WILL BE AWAY. THEY ALSO LEAVE YOU A CUTE NOTE SAYING WHAT YOUR PET DID AND WHAT HIS SPIRIT WAS LIKE EG: ''REALLY HAPPY TO SEE ME.''

PET TAXI GROOMED OUR MUTT, A COLLIE/CHOW MIX. WE TRIM HER HAIR IN THE SUMMER BECAUSE SHE IS BLACK WITH LONG THICK HAIR AND GETS SUPER HOT. WE HAVE TAKEN HER TO OTHER VET GROOMERS THAT HAVE JUST SHAVED HER AND SHE LOOKED RIDICULOUS. PET TAXI CUT HER HAIR JUST RIGHT SO THAT IT WAS SHORT ENOUGH, BUT NOT LEAVING HER LOOKING LIKE A FREAK. WE ALSO USED THEM IN THE PAST FOR CLEANING THE SKUNK OFF HER, IT WORKED GREAT, THANK GOD.

STAFF IS NICE, BUT THEY DON'T KNOW HOW TO PROPERLY GROOM A GOLDEN RETRIEVER. I HAD TO SEND MY DOG BACK IN FOR TOUCH-UPS. THEY ARE ALSO OUTRAGEOUSLY OVERPRICED. I DROPPED OFF MY OWN SHAMPOO SINCE MY DOG HAS SKIN ISSUES AND WAS STILL CHARGED $50 FOR A SIMPLE BATH, CUT AND NAIL TRIM.

VERY PLEASANT, SEEMED TO ENJOY MY PET. MY PET SEEMED CALM AFTER BEING WITH THEM.

TO ACCOMMODATE OUR SCHEDULE, TAMRA MET WITH US ON A SUNDAY TO MEET OUR PET, EVEN THOUGH THAT IS NOT A USUAL APPOINTMENT DATE. OUR DOG WAS IN GOOD SHAPE WHEN WE RETURNED. PET TAXI LEAVES DETAILED CHART OF WORK PERFORMED. WOULD DEFINITELY USE AGAIN.

THEY ARE VERY GOOD WITH DOGS!! THEY ARE SO GOOD THAT MY DOG JUMPS OUT OF THE CAR AND WANTS TO GO IN!

MISSED APPOINTMENTS CAUSED DOG TO RELIEVE HERSELF IN SIDE THE HOUSE.

TAMARA THE OWNER IS VERY PASSIONATE ABOUT HER LOVE OF ANIMALS. THIS MAKES IT MUCH EASIER TO LEAVE IMPORTANT PET CARE TO HER COMPANY.
