Pasquale Floors

Costs were 2x higher than quoted. Not only are they more expensive than competitors, but the quote submitted failed to state that the charges were 50% of the amount expected. After completion, a second quote (same work plus small change orders) called for payment of the remainder of the 50%. Like the first, the final quote did not note that the charges were other than full payment for the work. Owner blamed a new computer system for their failure to submit an accurate, comprehensive proposal and reconciliation. This practice is confusing at best, and deceptive at worst.

Pasquale floors was absolutely great to work with, my upstairs bedroom floor was badly scratched with paint splatters and gouges and they made it look just beautiful. They tore an old carpet off the steps which wasn't an easy task, as there were tons of nails imbedded in the steps, so now I can see the beautiful hardwood that was hidden underneath. There were small gaps between the step and the risers and Chris recommended installing a small molding that really finished the look of the stair and hid the gap. Thanks to the whole crew for all of their beautiful work.

Chris Frate and his team did an excellent job. From providing an estimate in a timely manner, to completing the job, we were very impressed. The entire team were hardworking and very honest with a great work ethic. They responded in a very timely manner to all of our questions. Pasquale Floors has the right equipment to ensure a practically dust-free experience. Several friends who used other companies said the dust and mess was horrible. They would never do it again. Chris and his team made this a great experience. I would highly recommend Pasquale Floors!

Chris Frate was exceptional and went beyond the call of duty to work us into his busy schedule. He arrived on time, did what he said he would do and did it with a minimum of clutter and a maximum of expertise. I would not hesitate to recommend Pasquale Floors to anyone looking for quality service at a realistic price. Mr. Frate was exceptional, personable and professional.

Chris Frate and his crew were very professional, clear about the steps necessary for the refinishing process, made good suggestions, kept us informed of their work schedule, and did a wonderful job. Our floor looks terrific! I would hire then again.

Pasquale Floors did an excellent job! The owner, Chris, called me back and stopped over to check the job the day I first contacted him. He provided a detailed quote in a timely manner and was a pleasure to talk to. Everyone he sent to our home was polite and hard working. He kept in contact via text on a regular basis and was always punctual. If someone was going to be later or earlier than expected (even 15 minutes or so) I received a text message. The floor is solid and looks beautiful! He was able to closely match it to the rest of the hardwood in the house. I would highly recommend him and would use him again!

The gentleman who came to do the work were friendly and professional. They answered questions that I had, and were sure to point things out about the job that I didn't know about.

Friends who are very particular about their house recommended Pasquale Floors (Chris Frate, owner) to me. I went to check the company out on Angie's and it wasn't here, so I'm providing their first review since they did such a great job.
First, I'd received estimates from Pasquale as well as two providers highly ranked on Angie's, Ernie and Son's (who I've used before) and the Sandman (several friends have used him). All estimates for equivalent services were really close, so it seems Pasquale's pricing is in line with others doing good work in the industry.
Chris was by far the easiest to communicate with- he returned my voicemail the same day, came over as scheduled to provide an estimate, and was the most professional in submitting a typed, easy to understand proposal by email (he offered mail or email and I prefer email). He was able to fit in one room I needed done before the others earlier, then scheduled the rest within a reasonable time afterward. He and his assistant showed up on time each day (or if they were going to be a few minutes late they texted, which I appreciate) and completed the work as scheduled, keeping the work areas neat in the process. The floors look beautiful! Chris did a great job matching the color and finish of the existing floors. He also replaced a broken board, which required trimming a current board a bit to match the size of the 85-year-old boards in the house, and it's undetectable.
A friend saw their truck at my house and told me Pasquale did a wonderful job on her aunt's floors as well.
Overall I was very pleased with Pasquale Floors and highly recommend them to Angie's List members.
