Had previously taken my car somewhere to check the exhaust and found out I needed a new muffler and some of the exhaust pipe replaced. Using factory parts (which the factory muffler alone is $300 ... no wonder Saturn went out of business), the estimate was $700. The car is old and I did not want to put that much money into it. I wanted to get away as cheaply as I could (with quality work, of course) and keep the car running for a little longer (12-18 months).
I dropped off my car Friday morning. As I was walking home, Norwood called me to tell me what was wrong and the estimate. "You're kidding" was my response. I then went on to tell him the story above and yes, he can go ahead and do the work.
When I picked up the car, I wanted to make sure the work was good, as the price was fantastic. Norwood gladly put the car up on the lift again and showed me what he did. The pictures are attached to this review.
