Mr. Myers was very thorough in explaining what had to happen, the cost, and how long it would take to do. The job was done without any problem. They were prompt and courteous. They cleaned up after their work, leaving us with nothing but to enjoy the room.

It went wonderfully from start to finish. The previous owners had a dog or some cats and the family room padding was a mess (smelled really bad). They peeled and scraped the padding, sanitized the floor and painted over the area :(floor is concrete) so the odor would not come through. Brian, Gene's associate worked late to finish and Gene met with me the following day to check it out. He noticed some scratches on the wall and woodwork so he repainted (his brother, Steve, {Home Solutions--great company} had painted the entire inside of the house prior to the carpeting installation) where the carpet had scratched the wall during the installation. He also fixed the doors so they would open easily and he and Steve came back on Monday evening to take out all of the old carpeting and padding for garbage pickup. They left the house in perfect condition, cleaning every room they had installed carpeting, plus the kitchen where they had done some of the cutting. They were prompt, professional and courteous. All in all, it was a great experience and I will call him again.

We were surprised by a suggestion made by one of the carpet layers for an innovative idea for the entrance to the family room outside. We intentionally left this below the carpeting and wanted a rectangle area at the door left uncarpeted to protect the carpet from dirt. The rounded edges of the rectangle he suggested added a special touch.

Process was easy and efficient. Gene's installer, Brian, did an exemplary job. I'm not sure what time Brian began during the day, but he stayed until midnight on a Friday to complete the job. Carpet looks great! Quality of carpet looks elegant (it is berber).
