Mrs. Clean Residential House Cleaning Services

Very disappointing. When she came the quality of the work was good. She texted me the day before scheduled cleaning to confirm the cleaning appointment twice. and each time I confirmed. Yesterday, she added a sentence to the text saying that if I don't confirmed I will incur $100 cancellation fee. She had never made that threat the previous time. I had a family emergency on that day and I did not see the text. The next day, about one hour before she was scheduled to come, she sent me a text, telling me that she is taking $100 as a cancellation fee and will not show up. I called immediately explaining that she had never sent that threat before and because of the emergency I did not notice the text. I questioned why since I did not respond to the text, she did not call me, before cancelling me out unilaterally and pocketing the money that I paid her in advance in good faith for that service. Were upon she begun shouting at me and telling me that I have no right to tell her hw to run her business. I feel that she cannot be trusted. Especially since I paid her in cash in advance and in good faith. I am very disappointed.

She did an excellent job and was very thorough. I will definitely be hiring her again and I would highly recommend her as well.

I have been using Mrs. Clean for several years. I have never had any problem. She is very pleasant and friendly, and i would not hesitate to leave her alone in my home. To me, that is very important. She is willing and accommodating, and I would recommend her without question. She comes on a monthly basis, which is sufficient for me as an older person, as she can do the bathrooms and similar things that i have difficulty with. I would be glad to answer any questions.

I continued to try to call, and each time I left the week that I needed their services as part of my voice mail message.  The expiration date for my Groupon was July 22, so I decided to give it one more try (July 7th), and then call Groupon for a refund.  Someone finally did answer, but what I found out was very aggravating, to say the least.  Apparently they didn't return my call because they knew they couldn't take me in July... or even August, for that matter.  First of all, should not a company still have the courtesy to call a potential client back and let them know that they were already booked so you would know you needed to get someone else... and have TIME to get someone else?  But no, they just ignored me.  Then secondly, I am irritated because they put out a Groupon when they didn't have enough manpower (?) to take people through their ending date, July 22.  I realize they had no way of knowing how much response they would get, but in that case companies put a very short time limit on the Groupon (which I have learned others do, as I have been purchasing Groupons for several years now).  Was perhaps their original intent to get people to respond, and then apologize that they just couldn't take them until the fall; hence, a full year of appointments for them?  I manage a customer service business, too, and it certainly appears to me that they are misleading people, and then pretending to help them out by extending the date. Or maybe they are a tiny company and should never have entered the Groupon arena, where you should not imply the availability of a service when you don't have enough people to handle the response by your ending date. 
I know this sounds like an unkind review, but I am so tired of the way our society has become.  Where are all the trust-worthy companies like we used to have?  So frustrating.
Just taking the time here to share my experience with this company so you do not have the same problem I now have, which is "company coming, way too much overtime at work, no one to clean for a houseful of weekend guests".  Unless you don't need your house cleaned for many months down the road, I would never call this company.  They are probably very small and should not be in the Groupon arena.  Just my two cents.
