My experience was good. Srdjan was fair and honest. The quality of materials was good and the installation work was also good. Overall I was pleased and would hire them again.

This company proved to have awful business ethics. A few shingles on my roof flew off after a bad storm. The roof was old and it was time to replace anyway. We called the insurance company and they gave us an estimate so we started searching for roofers. We got this recommendation from a co worker. We called Montenegro and they sent someone out, who gave us an estimate and told us they would replace the shingles that blew off temporarily for the winter, until March when they would replace the whole roof. We agreed and signed papers and cut them a check for half of the whole cost. We were told they would be back sometime that week to replace the missing shingles. More than a week went by and we had not heard from them. My husband finally called, and they sent someone a few days later. All was well until March when they came to put on our new roof. The chimney was missing the cap so they were to replace that as well. The new roof was finished within two days and looked great, except some shingles were raised up a little. We were told that they would lay flat after a few months when the warm temperatures would heat them up. Back to the chimney cap. We were told they were having a difficult time finding a cap because our chimney had "odd dimensions". Not sure how that is possible, but anyway we took their word for it. Webpaid them the rest of the money owed. After a few days of not hearing from them again, my husband called about the chimney cap we paid them to replace but they had not done yet. Finally someone showed up with what looked like an animal cage. He told us it was " custom made" for us. Well after he installed it, there was still a large gap under it where birds can get through. He told us if we see that happening call them and they will see what else they can do. Well wouldn't you know a few months later there was a bird's nest in it. We called the guy that said to call him, and he would not return our calls. Finally we called the main office and they said they would make sure that guy called us back. Well he eventually did and again promised within the week to come remove the nest and check it out. Well that was almost two years ago now and he still has not showed up. He will not return our calls. We have called the main office thinking maybe he no longer works for them. Well he does, and they told us he would call us back. He never has. We periodically call and leave voice mails but to no avail. The roof shingles that were raised that they promised would lay flat, are still raised!!!!!! We went through a summer with twenty days of 90 degree temps, so if the heat was supposed to make them lay flat, they should be flat! My husband called again a few weeks ago again and we just can't get in touch with anyone. Looks like we will be finding a new roofing company this spring to fix Montenegro's mistakes. Awful business ethics and customer care!

This was a horrible and ongoing nightmare. They had to remove a solar system for heating my pool and when re-installing it, broke the piping but never told me. When American Solar came out to inspect, they said it was so poorly and improperly re-installed, that it will need to be completely removed, and re-installed.
They dropped a beam through my ceiling and I have a unique ceiling knockdown pattern throughout the house. They sent a part time repair person who admitted he could not match the pattern. 
I cannot get them to either return calls or admit responsibility. I have nearly 4000.00 in damages that the Ohio office refuses to acknowledge. I dealt with the owner's brother in Florida and he is nowhere to be found his phone is not working. 
I vetted both through Angie's list and called the Ohio office to verify the Florida office was legitimate. The owner in Ohio now claims the brother used his company's credentials in Florida without permission. 
I later found out that no permits were obtained which is illegal in FL. It also prevents me from applying for a wind mitigation discount which will cost me 750-900 dollars a year in insurance savings.
How is it possible this company has an "A" rating? Run away and do NOT attempt to engage this company for ANY home repairs in Ohio or Florida!!! I will be paying for this mistake for years to come.

Update 4/21/2015 - Owner in the Ohio office now refuses any compensation unless I remove all negative comments on Angie's List and the BBB. I had to spend another 380.00 to have them served and now this will have to be settled in court. With all the roofing and remodeling companies in Ohio and Florida, this is one to avoid. The solar company now says the system was drilled in the roof but the joists were missed. Very little if any sealant was used and they are concerned about the quality of work. They are recommending re-roofing the area to ensure against leakage. This just keeps getting worse.

They did a great job cleaning up and keeping us informed what they were doing. Very satisfied with the work. Only problem was it took a while to get the final bill after all the work was completed.

They did a great job. They showed up and got it all done in one day. They cleaned up all the scraps and everything that was lying around, the nails in the grass or anything like that which is nice. They're a pretty large organization and they were really on top of their stuff.

Montenegro Home Improvement staff were very professional. They showed up when they said they would and even gave us updates as it rained quite often. When they had to delay a day, I was informed and when the weather looked like it would take a turn for the worse, they came early and got the job done hours before it rained again. The clean-up was excellent! The area around my garage and home looked better than before they arrived!
I would highly recommend Montenegro Home Improvement. They were great!
