They said it would take one week to order my piece of equipment but it ended up being over 2 weeks almost 3. All I ordered was a chainsaw. They only let me know it arrived after I called to see if it was in. Then they seemed to have all kinds of trouble locating all of the parts. And it appeared they were having trouble putting it together. Very unprofessional in my opinion. Maybe I can give a better review in the future but not today.

They told me I needed a new engine, not really worth my while to replace. I took it to another place for second opinion and it was up and running in 4 hours.

I had trouble with my rider mower starting. I called Marshall and asked them about their services. Rick asked me what kind of problem I was having. I described the symptoms and he indicated he thought I only had to replace the solenoid. He provided pricing on a pick up/ drop off, as well as service, but recommended I do a test on the mower. When I shorted out the solenoid, it tried to start. I took the faulty part to the store, where he gave me a replacement, took it home and an hour later my son was cutting the grass....Thanks Rick!!! I will be in touch in the spring to get the tune up I need.

I chose to go with the service center in Chesterland. (please note that the review wanted me to complete their address, but I do not have it, so it states that work was performed in Chagrin Falls).  They were friendly and professional on the phone and answered all of my questions.  I dropped off the snow blower on the Tuesday or Wednesday before Thanksgiving.  They explained that they may not be able to get to snow blower until the following week.  I indicated that it may need more than a tune up, so they promised that they would call with an estimate if they found anything wrong.  
I was surprised to receive a call with and update & estimate to replace the carburetor on the Friday after Thanksgiving!  After about 30 min. of research, I called them back to give the go ahead to finish the work.  They called later that day to say the snow blower was ready.
Since I had received such good service, my dad asked me to take his chain saw in for repair.  He was also satisfied with their service.

After I dropped my mower off for some simple mainetence. They called and said I needed a bunch of new things for my 2 year old mower, including a belt cover and blades. They said nne blade was bent and I would have to buy two to replace the one bent one. It was $90. I recently got the mower back and a box of the parts the fixed. The old blades fit together like a puzzle piece and they clearly not bent. I called the company when the delivery of the mower happened to make sure the charges were accurate. They hung up on me. I called back and spoke to a service worker who said they used the machine to check for bends. He assured me there was one. They won't removethe charges.

"We are very sorry to hear you are unhappy regarding your experience with our company. When you called our business for service to your John Deere Tractor, you had indicated that the blades would not turn, include a tune up package, and sharpen the blades if needed. Upon inspection of your tractor, our technician found a bent blade, worn belt, worn deck idler, and a worn belt cover. Our service manager called you with an estimate before any work was performed and went over every itemized charge. The Customer gave approval for all work to be completed for the sum of $525.68. Upon completion of the repairs, the Customer became unreasonable claiming the blade was not bent and none of the repairs performed were necessary. It is our policy to give our customers their old parts. One blade was bent, John Deere only sells this blade as a set of two, and the set of blades cost $45.00. All parts besides the engine tune up parts were special ordered from a John Deere dealer. We offered to show the Customer proof that her old blade was bent by putting it on the blade balancer and showing her that the blade tips did not line up. Her report on Angies List is the first of our hearing that the Customer called our store and was hung up on. If we somehow disconnected your call by accident, we are very sorry and are unaware that that had occured. We do not know when or where the tractor was purchased from and we're not supplied a proof of purchase by the customer. Our work is guaranteed, and we stand by our findings and work performed to your tractor. Our technicians are top-notch providing excellent service as well as our service manager and delivery driver. As far as the repair bill, the parts, labor, pickup and delivery, and sales tax were agreed upon at the time of the estimate. Please feel free to contact us anytime, we are here to assist you in anyway possible regarding service for your tractor."

Brought in lawn mower. Service desk said they were backed up and quoted me three weeks, until the day after Memorial Day. But they got the mower serviced 5 days early, so my lawn looked great for the holiday. My wife loved it!

We have had to call several times for our lawn mower when being told that they would call us. When we dropped the lawn mower off, we were told it would be done right after Thanksgiving. This was giving the company a month to fix the lawn mower. We had to call them since they never called us. We were told that they were working on several snow blowers, but they would get right to our lawn mower and would have it diagnosed by the next day. We had to make the call again and they did do the diagnosis, but never called again. They said they would have the tune-up completed and would call in a day or two when it was finished. It has now been three days and no call once again. It looks like I will have to call them again. This is some terrible customer service. No follow up calls unless the customer calls, even when we were told that they would be calling.

Very good experience. Very helpful employees that did not pressure me into buying anything. Very knowledgeable about products. Set up delivery of item for later in the week and it was delivered as promised. Person that delivered the product was helpful and demonstrated how to use the product.

I delivered the washer to their location, signed in, and paid a deposit. A technician worked on my engine until he found grains of dirt in the carburetor bowl. The repair took longer that usual, according to the company, because the technician fell and was injured such that he could not work for a few days.

Dropped off lawn mower one week prior giving information about how mower had stopped working. I was told that it would be a week before I could get an estimate and explanation for the repairs needed. One week passed and I was told what was wrong and what it would cost, and that the mower would be ready in about 2-3 days, but I was called and told the next day that the mower was ready, which was great. I was able to mow my lawn the same day as opposed to having to wait another week, which made me feel good.

They were backed up 2 weeks for snowblower tune-ups. That's what happens when the first snow hits they told me. They offer pick-up and deliver but it costs $34.95 extra so I took it over myself. The time estimate was correct, the snowblower was ready in 2 weeks. Staff was courteous and helpful. In past years I'd been using another guy down the street but I was tired of his attitude. His work always seemed to be about 90%, never 100% and he was more expensive. Marshall Equipment was good. I haven't started it up yet, haven't got any gas. But I'm pretty confident.
