I called Mark from Angie's list recommendation. He answered the phone and said he could come the same day to give me an estimate. He said he could complete the job in one day and the price would be $450 for 3 rooms.
It took me 12 hours to clean walls, patch holes and paint 1 room(without doing baseboards). Mark and his assistant Adam did 3 rooms and baseboards in 7 1/2 hours. I couldn't believe it. He also did the baseboards in the room that I painted at no additional charge.
Mark and Adam were very friendly and extremely polite. They worked diligently and professionally and only took a 15 min. break.
I would recomment their painting service to anyone.

Marc was responsive, came out for estimate when he said he would be there, and explained exactly what his work would include. If he was unable to work because of weather or other circumstances, he always called. I needed the work completed before winter and he accomplished the job quickly. He did a very good job, and cleaned up after scraping and painting. I got 3 estimates before making a decision and Marc's price was extremely reasonable compared to the other 2 estimates I got. He also worked out a payment plan for me.

I received quotes from 2 other companies and with a little negotiation Mark was the lowest of the three.
As far as quality, I believe that Mark and his crew did a great job. Once they started, it took about 4 days for all work to be completed. They paid a lot of attention to detail (such as re-painting the hinges and hardware on the shed doors - that was not part of the original quote or discussion so it was a nice extra perk) and over-spray was minimal to none. They did a great job of masking windows, working around a hot tub, and overall doing a nice job. They did get some overspray on a downspout but they re-painted the whole spout to address that.
After their work was complete, within a few days some of the stain in one small section did come up exposing the wood underneath. Mark did come out to repair this at no cost - he believed there may have been some moisture that prevented it from adhering properly.
The only significant complaint I have is punctuality. The initial work was done within a few weeks of receiving a quote, however, I had to call a few times to ask before getting scheduled. No big deal there. When Mark offered to come out and repair the one area that needed re-done, I had to call 3 or 4 times to get on the schedule. On the 4th call, Mark agreed to come out that very day - he did so and repaired the issue in under an hour.
Overall I would recommend Marc Anthony's Painting. I did need to have some patience in working with the company, but the end result and price I believe were worth it.

Great job!! Contacted Marc and discussed painting a 1962 split-level frame home. The house had a lot of peeling paint and needed a lot of TLC. Marc came out and looked at the house and made an estimate. We discussed at length proper paint surface preparation. After a number of calls fine tuning on what would be done, we decided to have Marc do the work. First, the complete house was power washed. Ample time was given to allow house to dry before scraping. Aggressive scraping started next removing flaking old paint. Oil priming and caulking came next. Marc suggested using Peel Bond to help level the surface to make the finished surface more smooth. Also, many other things were addressed that were not part of the estimate (fixing loose threshold for side door, replacing broken wood trim on front bay window, r&r house numbers, painting front gaslight, just to mention a few things). Finish coats were then applied. During this whole process, Marc's brother Mike was always on the job working as well as guiding the other workers on the job. Mike really did a wonderful job. In addition, things were kept neat, clean and orderly. Communication was very good between everyone involved. Our neighbors watched very closely as the house was prepared, painted and commented what a thorough job that was done. The one neighbor wanted his house painted by them. Near the final touches on the house, several people stopped their cars in front of the house saying how nice it looked and wanted to know who was doing the work. All in all, enough can't be said what a wonderful job was done by both Marc & Mike. The house is now the sharpest on the street. Many, many thanks!!

Marc is a nice likeable guy. I have nothing bad to say except, every time they were done with a job, there was paint on my carpet and flooring :( I though I could get it out myself, but can't. My mother also tried to hire Marc. He won't return her calls or texts. I'm not sure what to say.

"I appreciate your comments, and will only make me better on next job, I believe there was a spot on carpet, I thought it came out,?, I'm sorry,,,let me no what i have to do to correct it, I did get in contact with your mom, and did her two rooms, and then a month later she needed hallway /room done, and I was extremely busy at the time, and tried to do it, but I was to late when i called to schedule :( I'm not perfect ! but i do the best Job that i possibly can 150% of the time)...thank you again!! The crew arrived at about 9am, including Marc, as he had promised. I appreciated the fact that Marc was here and working throughout the project instead of just sending a crew. I also like the fact that he did not sub-contract the job. Everyone was polite, professional and did a good job. The crew applied a semi-translucent stain by brush to new pine siding on our garage and workshop addition, caulked around 7 windows, 3 doorways and all corners and trim pieces. They did additional work requested by me of scraping and painting the garage door, window and 3 door jambs. Marc told us to take a walk around the garage and workshop to make sure that everything met with our approval before we paid him. My husband thought the caulker maybe could have used a little more practice. In all, there was a lot of caulking to be done on this structure and a few areas got missed. My husband spotted those areas and Marc finished them up before they left. We were both pleased with the work and happy that Marc accepted the job on rather short notice and late in the season. We will have him back when it is time for another coat of stain. Beyond his work, Marc is a very genuine and trustworthy person, whom I would have no reservation in recommending.

Very rainy spring so work was delayed-no fault of Marc. He kept in regular contact and as soon as he had an opportunity to do work-he completed in timely manner. Did a good job and was extremely friendly and professional. His quote was about 30% less than other quote.

"I just became aware of this post ,I'm sorry you felt this way about me, I had no idea, but i do remember everything about the job,, his wife (lilly ) called me for estimate, in reguards to wallpaper reguards to wallpaper removel in living room, bathroom, and painting of two bedrooms . I completed the scope of work and they were happy, and paid me, did not say anything about not being happy, they actually had me over dinner that night, and it was from santos Italian restaurant, then like two weeks later they called me to paint there basement. They were happy and paid me, no problems , didn't say a word, then mr cepek asked about his back exterior windows that needed glazed and painted, but I never got around to do it( end of the year ) so I believe he is upset because I never got around to do them, Far as my worker goes ( Ted ) who they were talking about does not work for me anymore.( was going throu divorce) ans work ethic was not there, not an excuse thou, I am very professional when it comes to my customers , So I guess what am saying Is , I Don't understand y i they never told me if there was a problem, if I did do something wrong, I apologize to the , I wish I was spoken to, thank you!!"

The one thing I liked is that the fellow they had doing the work went above and beyond what was originally quoted to do. My only negative comment is that he was supposed to get the work done in May and didn't get it done until the end of June. Granted, the weather wasn't exactly cooperating in May but I warned him that if he didn't get the job done in May then it would be more difficult to do because you have a bunch of plants and bushes growing up around the deck that would be in full swing by then. There were some nice days that he could have gotten out here. I would consider using him again in the future.

They are also going to do the exterior of my house and my deck. They?ll also be doing some work for my commercial buildings. For a young kid the owner is aggressive and a hard worker. He is very polite and very businesslike. His crew was very neat and clean. They were very reasonably priced too.

I am very meticulous when it comes to anything being performed in my home. After meeting with Marc initially for the estimate, I felt extremely comfortable in Marc's personality, ability & price. I am pleased to say that it was a pleasure to have had Marc do this job for me. I spent the entire first day monitoring Marc & his employees work.....after observing their work ethics....I was relieved to have finally found a painting contractor I can trust. Some of my choices in colors were on the darker side...thus calling for specific primer to be used in certain rooms. Marc took the time to explain the reasons as to why this was necessary. Glad I listened to the PRO!!! I was elated by the final outcome of my home......Marc & his crew did an amazing job in a timely manner & all the while working with such care for my personal property. Thank You Marc!!!!

They did not do the prep work very well but were great at putting the paint on the wall. Their pricing was reasonable as well. The quality of their paint job was good and I was satisfied with their service.

The project went better than I expected. The first day I came home from work, I was shocked at how much he had completed. I wasn't even prepared for him to move into the kitchen so quickly, I had to hustle myself to clear it out, so the job could be done. And it was truly top notch.
