The best of the best. Our relationship started when Tom came out to investigate a leaky roof with snow on the roof. While the guy who put the roof up insisted it was not a roof problem and left us to figure it out, Tom from MA Stewart, actually investigated and found that an animal had created a hole in the roof. Tom patched the hole and said that we'd be the first on his list once the weather changed for the better. It finally changed and Tom scheduled us immediately. The roof is now fixed! His prices were very reasonable as he is very honest and the team did a great job with the repair. I do not understand why Angies List gives them an F. The only negative comment I can see is someone complaining that they did not return their call quickly enough. That's ridiculous.

Michael is wonderful!  He’s here when he says he’ll be here, and he does fantastic work.  Once he’s done, you can’t even tell he replaced any shingles.  I’ve used him for years and he’s always been very honest -- he's even told us that we don't need repairs on various occasions, and I really appreciate that integrity.

The estimate included details on all the work that is being done including parts and labor. It also included items that were not part of the job but could be discovered when actually performing the job. Cost for those not included items was specified n the condition that approval is needed in order to do any work outside the original estimate. It was very clear what was going to be done and what needed further approval if it needed to be done.

They showed up on time did the work very cleanly. I have a garden right on the side of the house right below the roof. They promised they would do their best to protect it, but they could not guarantee its safety from falling debris. They did put a tarp and not one single plant was damaged.

After the work was done, and during final inspection, I noticed the top of the chimney was starting to rust. I asked if anything could be done about it. The answer was since all the equipment was already gone, there is nothing they can do, but the next week they had another job in the neighborhood and they will stop by and spray the rust out. Which they did.

He was always on time he complete followed through with everything our roof looks great.

SuperStorm Sandy managed to take off over my roof shingles, over half the siding on both sides of the home, and created two nice holes in the 2nd floor ceiling bringing down drywall and letting water in.
The next day, with winds still in exces of 45 mph the crew was there tarping up the roof and removing debris. Michael and his crew completed the entire job within 10 days, they were punctual, professional courteous and thorough.
They worked with my insurance company to get things moving quickly and I had the entire job done by thier team within a week and a half.

I am a young, new home owner and find it extremely difficult to trust any company out there. MA Steward did the work that was necessary and didn't recommend additional work that other companies did. They said that I wasn't having any issues that would warrant the additional work the other roofers recommended.  They sealed two chimneys while all the other companies only gave me an estimate for one. They are reasonably priced and honest. I will be sure to contact them for future work if needed and refer them to anyone who asks for a roofer.

Mike and his crew did an extraordinary job. I was particularly concerned about my mature shrubs and trees, and not a single branch was broken! They cleaned up each day, and the roof looks amazingly good. I would highly recommend Stewart Roofing.

The quote was quick and more or less standardized. After inspection (I did not need to be at home) the quote was adjusted since I had more than a few shingles to replace, which is understandable. I supplied replacement shingles, the MA Stewart did the job without me having to be at home! Several other companies required someone to be at home or to have access to the house, since the house a very steep angled roof. The fact that I did not have to be at home was an enormous plus. The repair stopped the leaks and/or potential leaks. A very good price. UPDATE: 6 months later the exact same shingles fell down, I will use another company to try to get it done right.

Mike came out quickly and gave us an estimate on replacing the roof. The team of roofers did a wonderful job. They were punctual and courteous, and completed the job in 3 days, as expected. They cleaned up the debris daily, and the roof looks spectacular. Just as our roof needed more than just a replacement of shingles, we received a more than satisfactory workmanship. Thanks!
