He is extremely knowledgeable about restoration. He has great contacts with others in his field. He is very trustworthy and hardworking. He always calls to tell us when he will be here to work and is very reliable.

Shane is a fabulous carpenter and extremely helpful and nice. He did an extraordinarily neat job of opening up the ceiling to access the stairs, and repairing them so that they no longer separated and creaked. He was very careful not to mar the wood, and to preserve the beauty of the stairs. Shane was also great with a few smaller jobs like an access panel for the 3rd floor and very accommodating with a surprise job trimming down a small door that no longer fit to close. He's terrific!

He squeezed me into his schedule so it wouldn't hold up my painting job. He matched the type of wood and profile of the wood into the moulding. He was prompt and professional. The wood looks good. He couldn't give me a price before he started the work.

SHANE WAS A PERFECTIONIST. HE WORKED VERY HARD & WAS ALWAYS PROMPT & PROFESSIONAL, WITH AMAZING ATTENTION TO DETAIL. ALTHOUGH THE PROJECT WAS MORE INVOLVED THAN WE HAD ORIGINALLY THOUGHT IT WOULD BE, HIS PRICE WAS WITHIN THE RANGE OF OTHER ESTIMATES WE RECEIVED, THOUGH ON THE HIGHER SIDE. HE IS WELL WORTH THE PRICE, HOWEVER, BECAUSE HE IS OBVIOUSLY PROUD OF & PASSIONATE ABOUT HIS WORK. HE ALWAYS KEPT US UPDATED ON THE STATUS OF THE PROJECT. HE HAS A REAL APPRECIATION FOR HISTORICAL PRESERVATION & THE CHALLENGES OF FIXING AN OLDER, ARCHITECTURALLY UNIQUE HOME.
