LEVIN FURNITURE- Middleburg

This happened over a year ago and sometimes I forget about Angie's List and that is why my review is so late. When Levin reopened after some of their stores closed, they would not honor a store credit of mine for $141.00. This credit was for a flawed bedroom set that I had purchased and had to exchange it for another one that cost less.

We dealt with Stacy Vargo for our purchase. We have spent over $25,000 in this store in the past two years as we just built our first home recently. In January we purchased a custom chair and ottoman to match our current sectional. When it was delivered we found out that the ottoman was on wheels which we did not want (it was not in the store to view before purchase). I called immediately and was told they would check on getting stationary legs. Several weeks later I was told the legs had been shipped and they would call to set up a service appt. A few weeks later I was told they were on back order (not sure how they went from being shipped to being on back order unless I was being lied to). Last week I was told they were in the store and service would call to set up an appt to have them installed in the next two days. It's been over a week and I have still not heard anything and it's been over two months at this point since I made the purchase. After spending so much money in this store and be lied to about four pieces of wood, we will never purchase from this store again.

On receipt of the sectional it was noted that the wedge section was approx. 1-1/2" lower that the rest of the sectional.  Levin sent their technician to our home and he agreed it was a problem and ordered a replacement wedge section.  The new wedge section was delivered and it was also lower than the rest of the sectional.  The technician came again and again agreed it was wrong and ordered another replacement.  The third replacement was also not acceptable so we told Levin we did not want this sectional or additional wedge sections.  Levin Customer Service Persons were very courteous and helpful.  We were then told to come into the store and pick out a couch or sectional replacement, which we did.  on Dec. 19th the new sectional we selected was delivered.  We are very happy with the new sectional and compliment the Customer Service people at Levin Furniture as they were extremely patient and helpful.

I had them pick up the sofa and cancelled the order.They were not very polite.

Delivery was scheduled the same day for the following Wednesday. Prompt delivery and setup on the day specified.
