 + -1 moreWe have several beautiful and expensive wool felt rugs that we needed to have treated for moths. I was worried about having them cleaned as not many people know how to clean them. The owners assured me they knew how. They also wrapped them for our move to the west coast. Almost $1000 later for all our rugs only to find that they permanently stained our largest rug (stains that were definitely not present before) and the texture was forever changed. Now that we live in San Diego we have no way of doing anything about it. I contacted Larchmere Rugs and they took zero responsibility.
Description of Work: Needed 3 rugs treated for moths.

 + -1 moreVery prompt in replying to my phone call and scheduled an appointment around my schedule. I was very pleased with the information I received with the estimate. The owner is very knowlegable about rugs: antique, Oriental, and all kinds. He was professional and not high pressure at all. Took the rugs from the appointment, saving me a second appointment. The rugs were returned ahead of schedule and they took great care in positioning the rugs and the furniture. From this experience I would highly recomend this company and when I need to purchase a new rug I will go to Larchmere because of their service and honesty.
Description of Work: Mr. Gezer came out promptly and was very knowlegable. I had 5 large rugs cleaned and new pads made for all the rugs. The 2 oriental rugs were very badly stained from puppy urine. The smell was terrible and the stains ruined the rugs. Larchmere Rugs not only got out the smell but also the stains. They are magic workers. Other companies gave me much higher estimates, with no gaurantee that the pet stains or smell could be cleaned. Their pads were higher priced too. Mr. Gezer gauranteed that the rugs would be like new. I was shocked and very pleased when the rugs came back a week later! The urine smell was gone, the stains were gone, and the rugs looked like new. I will use Larchmere for all my rug cleaning and very highly recommend them. Don't throw out an expensive rug because it is soiled. Call Mr. Gezer - he is honest and will give up the best advice and the best price.

 + -1 moreThey were prompt and friendly, picked up the rugs at my house and cleaned them and brought them back. They are large rugs requireing hand washing which they do at their facility. Rugs clean and like new again.
Description of Work: Picked up, cleaned , and returned 1 large and a few small wool rugs.

 + -1 moreVery pleased with the cleaned/treated/padded carpets. Look much brighter and vibrant now that they have been cleaned.
Description of Work: Hand cleaned two carpets (9'9""x8' and 9'9"x7.3") at $2 sq. ft. "Treatment" to remove dog stains/odors $100.00 each. New high quality padding for each carpet $1.75 sq. ft. Company picked up the rugs from my house on a Sunday hours after I called. Company returned the rugs to my house approximately a week later, rolled them out with the new padding underneath.

 + -1 moreThey do very good work and clean the rugs by hand. They are knowledgeable and do a professional job. The repair work was nicely done and the total job was done beautiful. I am pleased with my rug.
Description of Work: I took my oriental rug to them for cleaning and some repair. They delivered it back to me.
