Cake Decorating
My mom got a specialty birthday cake for me a few months ago from Koko bakery. I think it was 12 inches or so. The woman who runs this shop is awesome; she's super-nice, and everything sold here is pretty tasty. The cakes are pretty, and she's willing to do some customizing. My mom in this case requested taro root (I know, not for everything, but I love taro). The more conventional chocolate and yellow cakes are also quite tasty. She decorates with fruit and chocolate, and each design is different. It's not a typical cake, more ''Asian'' in its style (you'll know what I mean if you've been to an Asian bakery). The bonus is pretty reasonably priced lunches and buns are also found here. Also, they're seasonal with the Chinese holidays. They had moon cakes at Autumn Moon Festival this past month!
