Everything went very well. David stopped by to see the shade and said he would call me after he finished a project. I dropped the shade off to him and he returned it within a couple of days. He did a an excellent job of repairing and reinforcing the vent cap.

Mr. Clain was very professional.  He came to the house promptly to give me an estimate for his services.  He was able to complete most of the repairs in my house.  He was very neat and the repairs were of excellent quality.  He had to remove a door to reconstruct it in his studio and securely boarded up the opening, completed the repairs and reinstalled the door within a week.  His service was professional and very well priced.  We will definitely use his services in the future.

I am so glad I found him!  I had contacted a number of other glass and window companies, who either failed to call me back or told me that I would have to take the windows out myself and bring them to their shop.   I had just about given up on ever getting the windows fixed on-site when I called David Klain.  He called me back within a day, came to give an estimate when he said he would, and showed up when promised to complete the work.  He was friendly, professional, and very neat.  He repaired the windows without removing them and cleaned up any mess he created in the process. I highly recommend him for leaded glass repairs.

Everything went splendidly. We were delighted with how everything turned out. They pay great attention to detail and care at an affordable cost. I plan on hiring him for some exterior work soon. I often get compliments on the work he has done for me.

If there is an easier guy out there to do business with than David, I haven't met him. He is punctual, considerate, competent, and his prices are more than reasonable. He struck me as on of those rare tradesman who views his work as art rather than a way to get the bills paid. He came out and gave me an estimate and, once the weather became tolerable, he came back out to do the work. He didn't leave a mess and the windows look great. Highly recommended!

Excellent service. Showed up when he said he would, quoted a reasonable price; completed the work on time and in a quality, craftsman-like manner. Also, when one of the window cords malfunctioned a week or so later, he returned promptly and fixed at no additional charge.

I had a very good experience with them. They finished the floor also for me which was very good. He listened very well to what we wanted. He paid attention our choices and did a very good job. The quality of work he did was very good. He was very responsive and professional.

They were conscious about cleaning up after themselves. They were also meticulous. They took their time to make sure everything was good, and also I felt they were worth the price.

We played a little phone tag, but my schedule makes that common place. The price was reasonable ($30/pane). David told me up front one of the panes lead might not come out perfect, but when he brought them back I wouldn't have known it wasn't perfect if I hadn't been told. He even oiled the doors and cleaned the panes after installing them. I'm extremely pleased with how the doors look and the job David did. Hire him.

See above. Plus, we gave Mr. Klain a key to the house, so that he could manage his workday well. The prepping in some areas required repeated applications and drying in between, during which he needed to leave and attend to other matters, then return for the next series of applications. He did a seriously extensive amount of perfectly controlled work, and within a few days it was complete, his materials were gone, our furniture was in place, and all we had to deal with were the improvements we'd hoped for. His was the lowest of three bids we had on the job, the surest in planned approach, and the most considerate and proactive in interest in our satisfaction. The price cited above included repainting the entire wall of the dining room around the large window at issue, which was not part of the initial plan but desirable for a completely finished effect, and it was painted extremely well and consistently. The price also included fixing and repainting a living room ceiling mess caused by an upstairs bathtub leak, which we asked him about after he'd started on the dining room part of the job. The man is a treasure.

Mr. Klain arrived on the dot of the appointed time, which was important to me, because I had to squeeze the connection in. He reviewed the four planes, brought his own tools. The job took two hours. When he left, no one could have told any repairs had occurred, except that I had four flawless windows.

HE HAD A LOT OF REALLY GREAT IDEAS ABOUT DIFFERENT TYPES OF GLASS TO PUT IN THERE, HE WAS VERY ARTISTIC AND KNEW HOW TO MAKE IT LOOK GOOD.

MAY HAVE TO WAIT FOR HIM TO GET TO YOU, BUT WORTH IT!

HE PAINTED THE ENTIRE EXTERIOR OF OUR HOME, A VERY LARGE JOB. HES A VERY GOOD PERSON AND EXTREMELY TRUSTWORTHY. WE WOULD LEAVE HIM IN OUR HOME WHILE WE WERE AT WORK AND HE'D LET OUR DOG OUT FOR US AND TOOK GREAT CARE OF EVERYTHING. HE IS FRIENDLY AND INTELLIGENT AND A VERY HARD WORKER. HE ALSO PROVIDED A LIST OF HOMES THAT HE HAD PAINTED FOR US TO GO LOOK AT. HIS WORK IS VERY NEAT AND HE IS VERY THOROUGH, GREAT ATTENTION TO DETAIL. I AM VERY PLEASED WITH HIM AND HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

REMOVED THE WINDOWS FROM THE OUTSIDE OF THE HOUSE AND TOOK DOWN THE THE EXTERIOR WINDOWS TO REPAIR THEM. HE PUT UP PLYWOOD WHILE WINDOWS WERE OFF SITE TO BE REPAIRED. HE HAD THE JOB COMPLETED IN A WEEK. HE WAS VERY PROFESSIONAL AND DID A GOOD JOB.
