Terrible! I waited this long to write a review becuase I wanted to be rid of all the properties we had for fear they would come back and deface them if I told the turth about what it is like to work with J&C Building Group. These people repeatedly lied and the further we got into the job, the more apparent it became that they really did not know their trade. The girlfriend kept telling us how professional her paint job was, but it seemed to me that the only place she got here painting experince was from painting her nails, I'm sorry to say. She did zero prep work and an exceedingly sloppy job with no clean up when her brush slipped. They did the painting first when everyone who knows anything about painting knows its one of the last things you do so that it is fresh upon job completion and at the walk through. They also had the audacity to tell us that painting a house did not include the trim and closets, that was extra! They would get furious with us and start swearing at us and verbally attacking us whenever we tried to critique there work instead of praising them for C- work when they charged us for an A job. They became beligerent when we would remind them that they were not following the contract they signed and once Chad came very close to punching my partner when he was trying to talk to him and show him what they had agreed to in the contract. At the end we were so sick of there bullying and shotty work that we paid them just to get them off the job and minimze the damages. We than had to hire a new contractor and spend $1,000s more to fix all their substandard work in order to pass city inspections.
