Mark and his team at Innovative Builders are fantastic!    Mark gave us an estimate and got to work within a week.  He and his team were prompt, clean, tidy, professional, respectful and very considerate of our home.
They turned our 1960's worn out and ugly master bath into a modern, spa like retreat.  It's so beautiful. The project had a slight delay along the way but only because Mark was not satisfied with the product he was using for our shower.  I'm fussy and I'm glad Mark is too.  There is nothing better than a contractor who cares about his work as much as you care about your home.  Fantastic!
I can't wait to hire Mark for more projects in and around our home.

The did an excellent job on the door, like it has always been there.  They did a great job on the ramp and railings.  They pay attention to detail and clean up after the job.  I had them come back and put on a storm door and a storm door on the front of my house too!

When the ground thawed (took just a few weeks) they came out and dug out the area and put in the concrete in just a couple of days.  They finished installing the lift on 4/3/15.  They also installed 2 ramps over a couple of thresholds in the house through the dining room and a bedroom.  All of the guys that worked with Mark (Eric, Dat and Patrick) were awesome.  Very professional, very polite and very caring.  The best part was they were patient with me through the entire process.  All in all a wonderful process and I am using them to widen the bathroom door to make it accessible.

Excellent. I contacted Innovative Builders & Equipment as recommended by a person who had a handicap deck/ramp built by them. They promptly came out to talk with me and analyzed my needs and requirements. Along with a formal proposal, a clear and detailed mechanically drawn design was included, illustrating what the deck/ramp would look like once completed. They bent over backwards to be sure at least the deck and stairs would be available for use when I needed it. Because of the weather (cold and snowy), they built it in two sections, first the deck for immediate accessibility and then added the ramp. We could at least use the deck and steps. I cannot say enough about how they were sensitive to our needs. The contract I had to sign once I asked them to go forward with the job was detailed yet easy to understand and was fair to both consumer and contractor. They proved that they do stand behind their workmanship and their mission to meet customer satisfaction. Due to miscommunication on both our parts, adjustments to the finished ramp/deck had to be made and was completed without additional cost to us other than for the additional footage not covered in the original contract. I recommend to anyone having a disability deck/ramp constructed that they make sure they clearly understand what the final pitch of the ramp will be. Innovative Builders follow ADA (American Disability Act) requirements, but can make the slope less of an incline. I assumed that the pitch of the ramp would be like the ramps used at the hospital. It turned out that it was a bit steeper and being an elderly female, it proved to be a bit of a challenge. Based on my experience, I recommend researching the ADA ramp pitch requirements to be sure they meet your needs as is or will need to be of a lesser slope. The other recommendation would be to request that the design includes all measurements IE: deck, ramp and the end of ramp pad. If I ever need another deck/ramp constructed I would, without hesitation, have it built by this contractor.
