Tyson Kuchta displayed confidence and authority which gave us confidence. He was very open to our wishes, including changes to the plan while the work was in process. He and his crew were professional and worked well together (we heard mutual ribbing but no harsh language or arguing) which was important since they were part of our home for several days.

I wish I could leave two reviews, because we hired Tyson for two projects and had wildly different experiences. We first hired I-Deal Solutions to remodeled our bathroom and take down a dividing wall in our house. The work was done well, in a reasonable time, and any additional costs were handled fairly and openly. We had a great experience and loved how it turned out. We were happy to recommended him to friends and even hired him to build an in-law suite attached to our home. It was like hiring a completely different company. The work was rushed and the quality suffered, we were misinformed, and any attempts to resolve any of our issues with Tyson were met with denials and immature tantrums. He became incredibly uncommunicative, dodging our phone calls and even refusing to talk to us at times (except when he wanted us to pay him before we felt the work was completed). In the end, we paid him most of the remaining balance just to get him to leave us alone, and we had to hire other contractors to finish what he had left undone and to repair the things he had done poorly. We had to have much of the electrical work redone because it was not to code. We also had to repair a leak in the roof of the new addition.

We approached I-Deal solutions for this project because the positive experience one of the partners had with them on a previous renovation. From the initial contact with Tyson, the owner, until the end of the project, we experienced professionalism and work completed to our expectations. We were a small startup rehabilitation company when we took on this project and with it there were some unique constraints to address. At one point we encountered difficulties with our funding which required us to stop work for a few months. As soon as we had this resolved, they were right back out on the job site picking up right where they left off. There were a couple of things that impressed us more than anything. Since we were doing a lot of work ourselves, if we ran into something that we needed extra help on or advising, Tyson volunteered his time to help us. Moreover, when we had his team and other sub-contractors off the site due to the funding issue, Tyson still came to the site and helped us out with various items. He worked within our financial constraints and made great recommendations during the planning process. As to be expected with any project of this scope, there are issues. Where I-Deal solutions shines is there ability to adapt and help to fix them and to make sure things are done right. We had an issue with how the shower curb was installed. When I contacted Tyson about it, I didn't even have a chance to finish telling him about it and he was already telling me that he had already identified it and that he was was already personally working to rectify the issue. That pleased us to see that he takes pride in his work and his employees. One important note, Tyson works side by side with his employees on the job site and isn't sitting back in an office somewhere. His crew worked well with other sub-contractors who were on site and Tyson made recommendations of other sub-contractors for other specialized items. We used them and they did a good job as well. I would recommend him and his crew to anyone who is looking to do a rehabilitation, remodel, addition or general contracting work.

The little guy that did our lighting fixtures and electrical work was recommended by All-Lite Electric. His name was Tyson Kuchta that did the electrical work. He is an all around handyman. He is on his own. We bought our own lighting fixture. We paid $140 for installing a new lighting fixture and to replace the electrical outlets in the bathroom. We thought that was reasonable. He does everything. We were really pleased with him and have given his cards to several people already. He was very pleasant and a young man and reliable. He learnt all his trades from his family business in another state because his dad used to be a home builder. He said he started doing all this when he was very young. We would rate him highly and would continue to use him in the future.
