I was not pleased with the quality of the lumber. Most of the time all of the self checkout lanes are functioning. The customer service is good.

I wanted the vinyl floor to be taken off and finish the hard wood floor. The quotation they gave me was too high. The quotation comprised of a humongous figure to just move the furniture from the kitchen to the living area. I was also quoted $69 to just move the gas stove and refused to replace it after the job. I found it strange when I was charged for a quotation, which they shouldn?t have done. I chose them for a quotation because they are conveniently located and it?s a one stop shop, where everything for the job is available under one single roof. Their customer service line is good. I would not recommend them nor discourage anyone from using their services. I may use their services in future.

They did a very good job. Their price was very good. They were informative and nice. There was a little bit of lack of communication on when he was coming.

We installed hardwood laminate in four rooms. I am right across the street from Home Depot so it was convenient. They had some great flooring and the installers did a good job. The end result is a really nice look and Home Depot was really nice to us. We would use them again.

I am not happy with Home Depot. The guy was really nice. He was very slow in what he was doing and I was not happy in that respect. He was getting my front and a second storm door installed. The product itself was great. The product was excellent the way I expected. It was a one cost payment rather than an hourly basis. The problem was the inflation of the first door and the lingering little problem of the second door. It took several hours to install the front door and a good portion of the time he was on his cell phone and he was slamming the door. He tried to talk me into removing a part from my door which would scrap metal on the door. I didn't do that and I didn't like what he did.

Bert was the associate in the carpet department. He was instrumental in saving us hundreds of dollars and hours of time. He introduced us the right product and took his time to help us with every question we had. Definitely our best experience at this store!

I got a good deal on the doors, they were on sale. Sayre Remodeling came out to do the measuring, and also did the work. Home Depot told me I could re-use the locks and doorknobs from the existing doors, but Sayre said that wouldn't work, so I had to run out to purchase them the day of the job. The work seemed fine, though I later discovered that one of the deadbolts did not line up with the strike plate and I had to pull up on the door every time to lock it. When I finally got around to going back to Home Depot to ask about having that fixed (several months later), it was arranged with Sayre and completed within a few days. I have since discovered the same problem with the other door (perhaps it settled later?). No trash was hauled away, so I was left with several heavy doors and a whole bunch of other junk to get rid of on my own. The door frames were put back together a bit sloppily, and the joints were not caulked very smoothly.

I am very happy with the doors. They had to be special ordered which took much longer than I expected. I had the doors installed at separate times and they lost one of the orders - but once I got the doors installed I was very pleased.

After the fridge broke down, we comparison shopped for a new refrigerator. The staff was helpful and courteous. The store has a limited selection however. We ended up also finding better prices at another store. Home Depot did offer lots of rebates on many of their models, as well as free gift cards with purchase and free delivery on some models, if you spent over $299 I believe.

There are good hardware stores, then there is Home Depot. There are good Home Depots, then there is the Severence Center Home Depot. This place is awful, and should generally be avoided. Unless you know exactly where to find what you need, and exactly what you need, don't bother coming here. Staff is generally not helpful, and often know less than the average homeowner. The exceptions are the paint manager (don't bother getting paint from anyone else), and a couple of older guys who seem to work in electrical supplies during weekday afternoons. Their prices can't be beat, though. Unless you go to Lowes.

Home Depot rents tools and equipment. I had never used a carpet cleaner, and the salesman was very helpful in explaining how to use the machine, what I should do to get the best results, and which products I needed to purchase. He also gave me a realistic idea of what to expect from the cleaning. He also loaded the machine into the car for me. The machine was clean and worked perfectly and the price was very reasonable.

We were told that the people would come and deliver and set the whole thing up and make sure it runs correctly and fix any problems. When they came they set it up and when we turned it on, it made a noise at the end of the long cycle and wouldn't shut off. They said that that wasn't their job to fix it, so I called the store, and they said they were supposed to look at it and they didn't. It's never been fixed, and they said they would send someone out, and they never sent anybody out. I've got the run around ever since. The attitude of the installers was really lousy, unprofessional, and just unhelpful.

HAD A VERY DIFFICULT TIME WITH HOME DEPOT. WHEN I PURCHASED THE CARPET I WAS ASSURED IF I PURCHASED FROM THEM THE TIME FRAME I HAD TO WORK WITH WAS POSSIBLE, EVEN WITH THE SPECIAL ORDER. THE CARPET INSTALLATION BEGAN MAYBE A MONTH AFTER THE TIME FRAME I WAS QUOTED. SOME OF THE CARPET WENT ON BACK ORDER AND THEY DID NOT BOTHER TO NOTIFY ME. INSTALLATION PROCESS WAS EVEN WORSE. BEFORE THE CARPET WAS INSTALLED WE WENT THROUGH 3 DIFFERENT SUB-CONTRACTORS FROM HOME DEPOT'S INSTALLER COVER ALL. THE FIRST GOT INTO A FIGHT WITH HIS PARTNER ON THE JOB, CURSING IN FRONT OF THE SMALL CHILDREN PRESENT AND PARTNER WALKED OFF THE JOB, THEY ARRIVED LATE AT EVERY INSTANCE BY HOURS, SECOND ATTEMPT WITH THAT SUB HAD HIM LEAVING THE JOB ILL AFTER 30 MINUTES OF WORK. THE NEXT SUB NO SHOWED NO CALLED THE FIRST SCHEDULED DAY. THE SAME SUB "FINISHED" THE JOB LEAVING A AN UNFINISHED EDGE AND US HAVING TO VACUUM THE DEBRIS. #RD SUB FINALLY FINISHED THE JOB. HOME DEPOT REFUNDED OUR INSTALLATION COSTS.

OVERALL I DON'T MIND HOME DEPOT, BUT THE CLEVELAND HEIGHTS LOCATION IS HORRIBLE. I WILL TRAVEL 20 MINUTES FURTHER TO GO TO THE LOWES IN BEDFORD HEIGHTS. HOME DEPOT'S EMPLOYEES ARE RUDE (IF YOU CAN EVEN FIND ONE WHEN YOU HAVE A QUESTION), THE STORE IS EXTREMELY UN-ORGANIZED AND CLUTTERED AND THE LINES ARE ALWAYS LONG. I WOULD HAVE TO NEED SOMETHING PRETTY DESPERATELY TO RETURN TO THIS HD LOCATION.

THE JOB WAS A TOTAL KITCHEN REMODEL (TEAR-OUT AND INSTALL). WE ALSO HAD GRANITE COUNTERTOPS MEASURED AND INSTALLED. THE EXPERIENCE WAS GENERALLY A VERY POSITIVE EXPERIENCE. THEY HAVE COMPETENT STAFF. IT WAS A GOOD DESIGN. THEY HAD REASONABLY PROMPT RESPONSIVENESS. THE CURRENT SUB-CONTRACTOR FOR KITCHEN INSTALLERS (ZACK AND ROYER) AS WELL AS STONE MASTERS (GRANITE COMPANY) WERE FIRST RATE CONTRACTORS. I WAS VERY PLEASED WITH THEIR PROMPTNESS, POLITENESS, CLEANLINESS AND SKILL LEVEL.

THE QUALITY OF THE WINDOWS IS GOOD. THE HELP IN THE STORE HOWEVER IS HORRIBLE. I WAS UNABLE TO GET ANYONE TO HELP ME. I WAS TOLD BY ONE EMPLOYEE THAT IT WASN'T HER SECTION AND SHE WALKED AWAY WITHOUT OFFERING TO HELP GET AN EMPLOYEE WHO DID WORK IN THAT SECTION. THE OTHER EMPLOYEES WERE TOO BUSY SOCIALIZING WITH EACH OTHER TO EVEN HELP.

JOB AS WHOLE WAS MORE EXPENSIVE THAN WE ORIGINALLY THOUGHT. VERY HAPPY WITH DESIGN SERVICE.

WE ORDERED 10 DAYS IN ADVANCE. THE DAY BEFORE DELIVERY WE GOT A CALL THAT THEY ONLY HAD 60 OF THE 105 STONES WE NEEDED. THE PERSON WHO CALLED DID NOT SEEM TO HAVE CHECKED WITH OTHER STORES OR HAVE ANY SOLUTIONS IN MIND. WE HAD TO GO IN PERSON, AT WHICH TIME HIS MANAGER SUGGESTED HE LOOK ON THE COMPUTER TO SEE IF ANOTHER STORE HAD THE STONES IN STOCK. THEY WERE ABLE TO GET THE STONES FROM THE OTHER STORE AND DELIVERED 1 DAY LATE. ON THE OTHER HAND, TRIP IN THE GARDEN/LANDSCAPING SECTION WAS AWESOME - HE HELPED US THINK THROUGH OUR PROJECT, SHOWED US EVERY TOOL WE WOULD NEED, AND WENT OUT IN A DOWNPOUR TO MAKE SURE WE HAD LOOKED AT ALL OF OUR STONE OPTIONS. HE WAS WONDERFUL AND ALL OF HIS ADVICE WAS PERFECT. THE GENTLEMAN WHO DID THE DELIVERY WAS ALSO GREAT. HE CALLED 10 MINUTES BEFORE ARRIVING AND WAS VERY EASY TO WORK WITH. DELIVERY WAS AT 9AM - IT WAS GREAT.

I WAS SURPRISED TO FIND OUT THAT HOME DEPOT HAS THE CHEAPEST PRICE ON SOFTENER SALT FOR OUR REVERSE OSMOSIS SYSTEM. I CHECKED SEVERAL INDUSTRIAL SUPPLIERS INCLUDING THE FIRM THAT INSTALLED THE SYSTEM (THEY WERE THE ONE WHO RECOMMENDED HOME DEPOT). THIS PURCHASE WAS MORE THAN A COUPLE BAGS, TOO. I WANTED 5000 POUNDS DELIVERED TO MY DOCK. NOT ONLY DID THEY HAVE IT IN STOCK, BUT DELIVERED IT THE NEXT DAY FOR A FLAT FEE AND PLACED THE ORDER ON MY DOCK WITH THEIR PALLET/SKID LOADER SO THAT IT COULD BE MOVED DIRECTLY INTO PLACE.
