I?ve used this company for about 4 years. They used to be wonderful. Now, I get a different plumber every time and the estimates are never on. During one of the jobs, I was charged 50% higher than what was quoted. He explained the warranty and told me to call if I had any problems. I had a problem, so I called. He became unhappy & sent out an entire crew of differnet plumbers. There are all different plumbers that work for him now. This is very disappointing. After some negotiation, these two plumbers came back out to my home, went to purchase the parts, and repaired the parts that needed to be replaced. They were pleasant and so far everything is working fine.
"The first trip before anything was done we offered to put the gas line in the wall or further back in the floor but in order to do so we would have to open the wall and floor to get the pipe past the concrete footer. He decided to put the gas line away from the wall and not to open the floor or wall. We ran 15-18 feet of hard black gas line cut and threaded in the basement, along the ceiling and up through the floor to the stove. Two good quarter turn gas valves, line secured, main gas system shut off and on, as well bleeding of the line and re-lighting of all pilots. There were no leaks and the customer was happy. This took from 9am to late afternoon. We have the time dispatched to the call and also the time we were at the parts supply store to the exact minute. His wife was not at home during any of the trips. Second time out was apparently because another person said the stove wouldn't fit and the gas line had to be moved. We then came out, cut and removed the baseboard, slid the stove halfway in and showed the customer there was clearance all around. He agreed and said someone else was going to take it from there. Next time we received a call the customer said someone else said the stove wouldn't fit again which was odd considering we just were over there and did it. Plus we gave the option of continuing the install but apparently some counter work was being done. Charged the service charge and gave a generous discount because our line was not leaking, still secure and properly installed. The customer called back again the next day and was upset they did not have a stove for two weeks. The problem apparently was they ordered a push in stove/oven and they removed a drop in one. The pocket was not correct in the first place for the new stove and it was purchased first. We offered to come over right away, put the gas line back against the wall and open the floor again for a second time for a minimal discounted additional charge. We also kept in contact with the customer and offered many times and opportunities to do this immediately and before the weekend came so they would not be without a stove longer than they have been already. Apparently the customer assumed we should come back, spend more time, money on parts, and not charge them because they assumed the gas line should have been further back in the floor or in the wall. WHICH WAS WHAT WE RECOMMENDED THE FIRST TWO TIMES. But the customer instead declined, we assume, due to being hesitant of a 2 foot hole in the wall or floor which would have been hidden by the stove anyways."
