GREG GUY DECORATING

Greg was very polite and diligent about getting the work done on my time frame, which was important because I needed him to finish in 2 weeks, before I moved in. The final paint job is really attractive, and I get a lot of compliments on it. Having said that, there are 2 things I would tell potential clients. Firstly, Greg based his estimate to me on covering the old color with only ONE coat of paint. I think that's unrealistic, and I don't remember being told that up front, though it is possible. When more coats were needed, it doubled my cost. Secondly, he felt strongly about using flat paint throughout (except on trim), and I've had trouble with that because it shows EVERY little mark. I've only been in the house 6 months, and I've had to touch up every room. If you work with Greg, I think it would be important to know what you want and be firm in your resolve. He's a great guy, and you'll love the work. Just make sure you know what you want going in.

GREG IS FOURTH GENERATION OF GUY DECORATING. HE AND HIS HELPER WERE VERY PROFESSIONAL: DETAILED WORK VERY CAREFULLY, VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE, TALENTED, FLEXIBLE (OK IF I CHANGED MY MIND), NEAT AND CLEAN-TIDYING UP AT THE END OF EVERY DAY, PUNCTUAL, HONEST, EASY TO BE AROUND (GIVEN THAT HE WORKED IN THE CENTRAL PART OF THE HOUSE THIS WAS CRUCIAL), ACCOMMODATING. EXPLAINED BILLING VERY CAREFULLY. GREG WENT BEYOND THE CALL OF DUTY IN HELPING ME OUT WITH CARPENTRY NEEDS THAT I HAD. HE KNOWS A LOT AND CAN PERFORM MANY OTHER REMODELING TYPES OF WORK. I AM KEEPING HIS NAME AT THE TOP OF MY LIST. I AM FUSSY AND A PERFECTIONIST. I HONESTLY DON'T HAVE ONE COMPLAINT.

WONDERFUL JOB. RETURNED CALLS, CAME ON TIME, CLEANED UP BEAUTIFULLY, FINISHED THE WHOLE THING IN 2 DAYS. MOVED FURNITURE AND RETURNED IT. VERY COOPERATIVE AND HELPFUL. MR. GUY BEGAN PAINTING WITH HIS GRANDFATHER - FOR HIM IT'S A LIFE'S WORK.
