Grant Coatings

Grant's Painting's Bernard Grant told me to pick out the color. He requested all the money up front. I didn't like that. He had given me a written estimate and he told me verbally when he would start. He started on the day he said he would start. He was not prepared: he didn't have the manpower with him to do what he needed to do. We had to wait for a worker to come. He was inconsistent in his days of coming and he never finished the job. He told me he was known for exterior painting. He was about 90% complete. He kept making appointments with me to come but he wouldn't show up. I never could get in contact with him. I just finished the job myself. The price would have been a good price if he had finished the job. He did not do things in a professional manner. He didn't cover up, didn't cover things up. He was painting the basement area and my office area. I have a washer and dryer down there so after he left I had to remove a lot of paint off of things myself.
