GORNIK'S PAINTING

Chris and Joe Gornik, a brother-sister team of painters, have done quite a bit of interior painting at my house.  They have taken on some challenging projects - working with and around a carpenter and plaster guy doing repairs - and always do a great job at a very competitive price.  They have painted 4-5 rooms and done work in several others, and their work is always good quality.  They are careful to move and/or cover furniture and other items, and their finished work is top-notch.  Equally important to me, they have been patient with my color indecisions and scheduling challenges and are completely trustworthy.  I wouldn't hesitate to leave them in the house while I was out.  

One timing issue worth noting is that Chris and Joe often wrap up their painting day at 2:00 or 2:30.  This has worked well for me, as they get a lot done in a shorter day and I still have part of the day to take care of other things.  For some, though, this might be an issue and is worth discussing with them before they start a project.

I'm crazy about these guys!  They do a great job at a very competitive price; I trust them completely in my home; and they've worked with me to resolve color and scheduling issues.  I'd hire them again in a heartbeat.  In fact, I already did!

When they came for the estimate they addressed all my concerns before I had to bring them up. They started at 8 AM and worked each day without taking any breaks. No loud music, not even a drink in the room. They worked around a large futon in the middle of the room-covering that and the floor with dropcloths. Cleaned up every day. A totally painless process and the result looks great. They were unable to paint a section of baseboard and have since called to find out if the problem has been taken care of so that they could finish. Chris and Joe are very easy to deal with as well as being very professional. Their feeling is that they want to do the work as they would do it for themselves. Since I have more of this type of work to do in my home, I'm happy that I can just call up Chris and Joe the next time and be confident that the job will be done to my standards.

Chris and Joe were great. They fit me into their schedule to accommodate a paint job needed to show my house for selling. The quality of their work was outstanding. The walls, when complete looked perfect. I will use them again.

(Gates Mills, Mayfield Hieghts, Hudson, Cleveland Heights, Shaker Heights, etc.) They gave me a detailed estimate of all necessary work to be done. They were on time, neat, clean, and finished on schedule.
