GIANCOLA CONSTRUCTION

We were very happy with Mike. We had been warned about many things when hiring a contractor, and were pleasantly surprised not to have any of these problems with him. He was respectful and courteous and cleaned up after himself on a daily basis. He was on the job everyday and did most of the work himself. We have a two-year-old and he was mindful of keeping her space clean, and even finishing his noisy work in time for her nap. The project was completed ahead of schedule and very much to our satisfaction. He consulted us with any major decisions, but worked independently. Mike repainted rooms that had been incidentally damaged by the construction (e.g., cracks in ceiling in room below). The materials and craftsmanship are high quality. We would hire him again and recommend him without reservation.

The bid was competitive with 3 others. I did not use them because the contractor I chose did extra leg work and research about my needs prior to giving me a bid.

I COULD NOT HAVE ASKED FOR A BETTER EXPERIENCE! MIKE TOOK THE TIME TO UNDERSTAND WHAT I WANTED AND DID WHAT HE NEEDED TO ENSURE I WAS DELIGHTED, HE PROMISED THE JOB SITE WOULD BE KEPT CLEAN AND IT WAS, HE ASSURED ME THAT THE JOB WOULD MEET MY EXPECTATIONS AND IT DID!! WHEN THERE WERE SUBCONTRACTOR DELAYS MIKE NEVER PLACED BLAME, BUT WORKED TO GET THE JOB DONE. HE TOOK A PICTURE OF THE 'BUILT-IN' THAT I SAW AND CREATED IT. WHEN IT ARRIVED WITH THE WRONG STAIN, HE HAD THAT FIXED IN 5 DAYS. I FELT AS THOUGH HE WAS BUILDING THIS LOWER LEVEL WITH THE KIND OF ATTENTION TO DETAIL THAT HE WOULD WANT IN HIS OWN HOME...AND I GOT EXACTLY WHAT I WANTED! WHEN I DECIDED IN MID STREAM TO CLOSE OFF THE WORK OUT AREA, WITHOUT MISSING A BEAT, HE UNDERSTOOD, SUGGESTED FRENCH DOORS, (WHICH I LOVE!) AND PUT IT IN RIGHT AWAY. I WAS SAD TO SEE HIM GO AS I HAVE NEVER, NEVER, HAD SUCH A WONDERFUL EXPERIENCE BEFORE WITH A CONTRACTOR. I HAVE/WILL REFER ALL MY FRIENDS/FAMILY BECAUSE THE WORK WILL BE GREAT!

EVERYTHING WAS FINE.

EVERYTHING WAS GOOD ABOUT HIS SERVICE, HE SHOWED UP WHEN HE SAID HE WOULD, GOOD CLEAN UP AND USED GOOD MATERIALS.
