My whole family and I have been taking our cars to Gene's Marathon for over 15 years. They are reliable and helpful. They are not the least expensive company in town but you definitely get what you pay for. They are very honest and always inform you if something doesn't need to be fixed right away.

We've been using him for over 15 years. He has treated us from the beginning like family. He is always able to diagnose and fix a problem. If you need to bring the car back, you can bring it back as many times as you need until it is fixed. He is an honest, great mechanic and his work is outstanding. He's a really good guy.

I spend about$1700 to get the big things done and $30 I spend about $30, so on average it is $250. I have never had to go back to them with the same problem saying that they have to fix it again. They have been very prompt in doing their work. I like the people there and I think the guys themselves are just nice people. They have been absolutely swell.

When he got into the car it squeaked and said the ball joint needed to be replaced. So he did that. I took my other car there for my 100,000 mile check up. They told me it would be $400 to have the rear brakes replaced plus additional work. I got a second opinion and found out the rear brakes did not need to be replaced and the price was significantly less. The work done was okay but I would get a second opinion.
