Dr. Blue examined our dog and prescribed appropriate treatment. We found Dr.Blue to be very knowledgeable and caring. I was really impressed when Dr.Blue called the following morning to check on our dog. The staff at Gateway has always been very professional and compassionate.

They don't take appointments so you sit and wait. It's not that doc's that arent professional its the girls at the front desk, you can hear them talking but the docs are fine.

I've been using Gateway off and on since the '80's. My basic complaint is that, I understand that before they would allow people to pay on account. You can't do that now. You either max out your credit cards or you don't, but payment is immediate. There's no longer a billing. You can't run an account with them. So, that's something that I had been using. Since I can't run an account, "No, Mr. Wiskers isn't coming in that often, I can't afford it". They're pretty good about pricing. There is a wait unless you made an appointment, but they don't have a lot of appointments. It's basically walk-in. Iggy, I brought in very, very sick, and she was taken right away. Kind of like an ER. I would tell someone about the price. I like the vets, for the most part, and it's relatively close to home. And one other thing, unlike on other vet that I used before, they aren't going to anger you. They aren't going to string you out. If your pet is very ill and dying, they're going to say up front. Instead of giving you vague answers, they will tell you the options. They will tell you the minute that will tell you if they feel that they need to put the pet down.

They gave me the pros and cons on putting my older cat under surgery.
Very clean and professional. Lots of space for owners to sit with their animals.

I had to take him in to their shop. I had to take our cat in it got attack by something. They were very good and not that expensive. They were really good. I had to keep an eye on them. There were hot compressess. They saw him pretty quickly. They got it all taken cared of so I didn't have to go back. There were no unexpected issues. It included the medication that I had to take home with me as well. It's a "first come, first serve" animal clinic. There are no appointments. I've been going there for years.

They have really good prices and there are a variety of vets so you can choose one that you like to see consistently. The problem is the waiting especially in Saturday and Sunday. There are usually more people at those days.

I always went to Dr. Liz of the clinic and she is very much cared about whether the pet is comfortable making sure that they got the best care. They have pretty reasonable pricing. It is a walk-in clinic and definitely there is a long wait.

Put cast on my cat's broken paw. They are very knowledgeable, friendly staff. I love the new office; patients seem mostly comfortable in the waiting room, you can step outside to give them air and they'll call your name over the intercom when service is ready.

This was my first visit to Gateway after being disappointed in other vets that were recommended to me and I'm finally done shopping for a vet.
Contrary to reports by other users, I was in and out much faster than the last vet that I used where I had an appointment. I was there around 12:30 on a Wednesday and there was one person ahead of me waiting. In no more than 5 minutes my dog was with Dr. Liz who actually convinced me that she was listening when I answered her questions. The two other staff people that talked with me were both pleasant and helpful and it was a real treat not to have to fill out 4 or 5 pages of paperwork to get my animal treated.
The real bonus was that the office visit AND two medications were about a fifth of what my last vet cost me with no diminution of care. I'm hooked.

Compared to other places, the price is excellent. The vets that I have used there are the most animal loving people I have ever met. Everyone that I talk to loves their services. I have seven cats, and they have treated all of them. I am very satisfied with their services.

He always gives great service. His staff seems to genuinely love animals and Brian is phenomenal. I've always enjoyed his manner with people and animals. He helps with strays and domestic animals alike, and he treats them all the same. He's also got a great location for everyone in Cleveland.

They work with people that have income challenges. They also work with rescue groups and help animals. They have a team of doctors and they are all excellent. They don't look to make money; they care about animals and the animals' welfare. They don't to talk me into procedures that are not necessary. When I call them, I get a recording. I don't go there by appointment, it is a walk-in clinic. So some people complain that they have a hard time reaching somebody if they have to talk to them on the phone. There will probably be times when I go there and sit for a couple of hours before I see a doctor just because they are very popular and there are walk-ins. Last time I was there, I did have to leave because they had a lot of emergencies and I was not anywhere near to getting to see a doctor even though I had been there for almost two hours.

My dog is a rescue dog so he has had a lot of health issues that they have treated....bloodwork, medications, shots, etc. They are very reasonable in their pricing, more affordable than most places. They have six doctors there and they are all good....friendly, caring and very kind to the animals that come in there. You sometimes have to wait a little while to see them, but it's worth the wait.

I love that place. I didn't like that I couldn't make appointments but otherwise I loved them. I loved all the staff and the doctors were awesome. There were four vets and it was a big nice clinic. It is run on a first come first serve basis but they tried to see everyone that came through the door by a certain time. I most definitely would use them if they were not as far away as they are from me.
