Handyman Service
The carpet placement was horrible! The edges of the carpet were not cut
clean, cut too short, and holes made in carpet. The carpet was not even
cut wide enough to be tucked under the metal threshold. There was blood
smudged a long the wall in the master bedroom, hallway, and on the
carpet.
Mike the owner said they would have me check out the carpet
before they left. I saw them blot the their car and drive off. They left old
carpet for me to remove when the removal was included.
I was promised a year warranty even with me purchasing the carpet at Lowes. I
had arranged 3x with Mike the come look and fix carpet. I was left each time for hours for him to not show. 2
out 3x he even had the nerve to text and say he was on his way to still
not even show up.
I had Lowes and another independent company come out and look at the carpet job just in case, wondering if it was the carpet I purchased. They both said it was improper cutting and placement, not the carpet.
I put a complaint in to the BBB after 3 months of scheduling appointments. Of course no response to the BBB.
I am currently filing with small claims to receive a full refund.
I tried to help support local businesses whenever I can, that was poor judgement on my part.
