Excellent, they were on time, worked quickly, easy to work with, and made what looked impossible, possible. I would definitely hire them again as they have moved me twice before.

The movers with Fridrich were professional, courteous and couldn't be more helpful. George Fridrich was very helpful in planning and executing our move. Plenty of boxes and the crew pitched in where ever needed to make sure all went smoothly. We worked with them in the past and would certainly work with them again. Great service!

The movers themselves were excellent. Very professional, courteous and punctual. My only detraction was what some other people mentioned with responsiveness to the request on Angie's list. I received no contact whatsoever and had to call in a week later to get them to acknowledge my request. If I hadn't used them before and liked their lead technician I probably would have gone somewhere else.

From the time I placed the call, requesting a quote for the cost of moving this spinet, to handing the mover the check for the service, I could not have been more pleased. The owner of the company is the one who provided the quote, explained exactly how his pricing worked and how they would accomplish the move. Although I had requests out to three other companies, this one responded most quickly and was more reasonable than the others. In addition, they were able to handle the request within 4 days. The piano arrived in perfect condition, and the movers were friendly and considerate. I would recommend them to anyone -- and WILL!

When we planned our move for February, we knew it could be dicey with Cleveland weather.  On the day of our move, it was 19 degrees and snowing - we ultimately accumulated 4 inches of snow while the move was in progress.  The Fridrich movers arrived promptly, and were not merely professional but downright cheery!  They did a terrific job, despite the miserable conditions.  Everything was moved carefully and reasonably quickly - they didn't make a single scuff on a wall.
We moved from a three story, three bedroom house to a three story, five bedroom house.  The move took about 7 hours.  In ideal weather, they may have been able to do it in 6.
I'm sure there are less expensive options out there.  But I've dealt with bad movers before, and I believe it's worth paying more for quality.  Hopefully I won't have to move again for a long time, but if I do I will only use Fridrich.

The packing part of moving was done with a great deal of professionalism. They took a great deal of care when moving all of the fragile.items. They were very prepared when it came to knowing were they had To go after finishing the packing.. They packed my storage unit in an effecientf and organized manner. I was very pleased with the packing, moving and transport of items to the storage unit.

Probably the best movers in the business. They are honest, the workers are very professional. They pride in their work. A lot of them have been there a long time, they know what they are doing and it's obvious they are not just there to collect a paycheck. I've used them twice.

The movers on both sides of the move were prompt and very polite. Unfortunately, we had some damage to the walls during move out, so before move in I spoke to Mike about changes we could make to prevent any more damage. The men were cautious about making sure nothing was broken and keeping the floors protected. Their pricing was competitive with other quotes I received.

I called for a quote to move two giant armoires from a residence in Lakewood to my home in Bay Village. The owner replied promptly with a quote and was able to schedule the job within a few days.

The movers showed up at the Lakewood residence exactly on time, wrapped all glass shelves individually and secured the armoires (all glass).

They called me when they were on the way to my home in Bay Village. Upon their arrival, there was some concern about which entrance they could use as Management did not want excessive weight on the front hallway tiles. The movers were patient while we problem solved, and it was eventually decided that the movers could use the front hallway if they carried the armoires as opposed to using their handtrucks. They carried these giant armoires all the way down a long hallway to my home, carefully navigating around corners and hanging lights. They made sure the armoire legs were adjusted properly so the armoires would not rock, they carefully replaced each glass shelf back into the armoires, and helped me make sure the lighting worked. They were friendly and humorous the entire time.

The charge was per hour, and the estimate was right on.

I will definitely use them again.

The main reason I chose them was because of the reviews on Angie's list.
The guy who did our moving estimate (George) was totally unprofessional and frustrated (may be he had a bad day. That's not my problem), the rest of the team was good and professional. We picked them for our move because the rest of the team was good.
Nobody showed up on the scheduled pick up date. I was not even contacted to inform me that my goods will not be picked up that particular day. When I called the office, they had no clue and they said they were working on it. I don't hear anything from them. I had to call the corporate office to get some one to pick up my goods. The pick up as well as the drop off guys were good, efficient, good communication and they took good care of my stuff. I don't know who puts up the review's on Angie's list, but I am totally unhappy to pay for my subscription to read fake reviews!

They were unprofessional from beginning to end. The sales person came out and under-estimated the job and what was needed: size of truck and number of men. When the day of move came, the two that were sent out complained over and over; called the salesperson to come out and settle the situation.....taking more time away from my move. After all of that, said there were no other trucks or men available so this would have to and quot;doand quot;! They literally jammed all of my expensive furniture, including a beautiful, priceless breakfront, Drexel entertainment center, white sofa and dining set; Bergere chairs, etc. etc.etc. into the small truck. They didn't even have enough pads to cover everything and had to use whatever I could provide. After cramming everything into the truck (lawn furniture on top of cherry dining set, etc.), they, of course, chose the longest route to Brecksville. I left after they had and was waiting for another 30 mins for them at the new site.
At the end of the day, there wasn't one piece that wasn't damaged. After having a professional furniture restorer come out, I was told it would cost well over $1200 to repair just a few of the pieces. I contacted Fridrichs and went through such a hassle for some time. The burden was on me to prove all of it and they would only pay part of the restorer's estimate. In the end, they decided to refund my money rather than pay for the damage and that was what I had to settle for!! I was left with priceless furniture that I couldn't afford to have repaired. I would never, ever deal with these people again!
Just another case of a middle-aged, single woman being taken advantage of !!!

Fridrich Moving and Storage is an affiliate of northAmerican Van Lines. George Ringle from the local office came out and estimated the time, materials, and cost of our move. This was our second move with Fridrich, the first being 2 years ago to Cleveland from out of state. We were lucky, as the same crew was available to help us. They were capable, pleasant, and professional. We had already packed and brought over many small items. We packed the books for them to transport. They packed the larger items, fragile collectibles, all artwork, plus clothing, kitchen, garage, and stored belongings. They moved everything into our new home with care, wrapped and carried antique furniture with extra care, covered the floors and stairs to avoid messing carpet and tile, and placed everything where I had indicated on a large diagram of the house which I hung in the front hall. The work was done efficiently and in a timely manner. They even had me ask the nextdoor neighbor if she wanted to get her car out of her garage in the AM, as their truck would be parked in front of her house for more than several hours and might block it. One of the movers was having heart pain on move-in day. The head man called an ambulance, the others continued their work. When the patient was taken off to the hospital, another mover was sent to help. After 2 weeks, I haven't opened all the boxes, but the crystal, china and glass objects have already come out in perfect condition -- no breakages. We highly recommend Fridrich Moving and Storage for local or long-distance moves.

The last time I moved was 18 years ago and I did it myself, so I was a little worried about finding a good company that would take good care of my furniture for this move. All the furniture was made by my grandfather,my father or myself - a lot of hard work and sentimental value. I also had a full shop of power tools that had to be brought up from the basement.

Simply put, Fridrich delivered in spades. The best money I've spent in quite a while. They showed up on time, did a good job prepping the houses to protect the floors and carpeting. They guys were friendly, efficient and very hard working. They were running ahead of schedule and still had room in the truck, so they helped me bundle and move all the lumber that I had thought I would have to move later in a U-haul.

I'd recommend these guys without any reservations.

I cannot recommend Fridrich's enough. They came to the house about a month ahead of time and gave us an estimate. We were downsizing considerably, so the original estimate was for $3,000 to move everything in the house and in a nearby storage unit from Old Brooklyn to South Euclid. To save on money, we moved a lot of boxes ourselves. On the day of the move, they assigned us four men and two trucks. They loaded us up in 4 1/2 hours (and we had a LOT of stuff) and unloaded our belongings the next day in 4 1/2 hours. All four men hustled the entire time. They were respectful of our homes and our belongings, and even added a bit of humor to our day! I was pleased that they did not rely on the original estimate to budget their time -- they worked hard to get us moved quickly. Another added bonus is they showed up with wardrobe boxes and moved all our clothes from closet to closet. I give them two enthusiastic thumbs up!

Fridrich Moving and Storage was recommended as a preferred mover by a Case Western Reserve University administrator in Cleveland. However, they used a Maryland estimator to survey our home, and he badly underestimated the job and the number of boxes necessary. Because we had a binding estimate, we paid the price agreed upon, but also decided willingly to pay for the extra boxes they needed, which had to be purchased from a local company. Fridrich officers Mike Fridrich and George Ringle were personally in contact with us from the first and coordinated all the factors of our move. They answered all our advance questions and called frequently on the day of the move. They sent a FINE team to move us - Al, Will and Ben - the floors and carpets were covered at both ends of the trip, our walls showed no scraping, and so far, with half the boxes unpacked and the furniture in place, there is no damage of any kind. I cannot rave highly enough about this company. USE THEM!!

Both moves went perfectly. From the movers, to the estimator George, everyone is hard working and professional. The owner Mike Fridrich is a "hands on" owner who really cares about the service he provides. They are a great company from the start of a move to the finish.

We chose them because they were well reviewed and actually the owner lives on our street. The movers themselves were great; they did a good job but they completely got the estimate wrong. They came in almost twice as high as the estimate. We called them about it and said like this is so much worse than the estimate and they send us like 150 dollars back but we were not thrilled. The guy was like I don't know why I did wrong and I think he has been doing it for a long time. The guys themselves were great; they didn't damage anything and did a really nice job. The actual experience itself was good but the estimate and the final price was like an F. The quality of service was good; they did answer all of my questions and were early for their work. If I can make them give me a binding estimate then I will use them again because they do good work.

These guys are great. We had 2 guys the first day, Don and Mike. In August they added Adam. I could not believe how these guys kept going. They even tease each other about who can pick up the heaviest stuff. They never let up. Great attitudes all day long, while doing a really tough job. They were patient when I changed my mind about where I wanted stuff and treated us and our belongings with respect.

Went very well. We had three different locations from which they had to pick up furniture. They met our schedule request on short notice, and actually showed up earlier than expected. I had neglected to tell them about one of the pick up stops and the price was still close to the original estimate. They were a pleasure to work with.

They were thorough and just nice to deal with. The two guys that came were friendly and nothing, as far as I know, was broken or damaged. They had to move her up three flights of steps and it was a very hot day that day. They arrived on time too.

Things went well. We had a complicated move; we needed to have just furniture (other items already moved) taken from our apartment in downtown Cleveland to our new house in Avon. On the way there, we needed to drop off an extra couch at a friend's house in the West Park area. Then, once the furniture was unloaded and placed at the new house, the movers had to go clear out our rather large storage unit in Avon (mixed load of furniture, boxes, and sporting goods) and drop off everything at the new house. The movers (4 young men) arrived promptly in the morning and navigated the complicated "freight elevator" arrangement at our apartment building very well. We got the apartment cleared out and headed for my friend's house. There was a snag there, as the couch wouldn't fit through her door despite the movers' diligent efforts, but we had a contingency plan in place, so that wasn't terrible. Offloading at the house went great. The movers put down floor protectors, as well as padding the wood banisters and any other surfaces which could have been "dinged" by accident. They got the furniture put in place, then headed over to the storage unit. They loaded the truck there in no time and were very neat and careful with our belongings, some of which hadn't been packed to be handled by movers. They then brought the storage unit items back to the house and placed them as I directed. We left most of the boxes in the garage to sort through later, and they thoughtfully arranged the stacks with aisles in between so that we could easily get to almost everything. The second snag of the day happened when an heirloom desk wasn't fitting through an upstairs doorway, but the guys managed to figure out a way to carefully take off the door trim and turn the (heavy!) desk around to get it inside, after first making sure that their plan was OK with me and that I wasn't planning to take the desk out of that room anytime soon. They were very creative in solving the problems encountered and obviously knew what they were doing as far as handling our things carefully and professionally--they weren't just a bunch of college guys picking up some extra cash on a Saturday hauling boxes around. All of the movers were very polite yet friendly, with their efforts totally focused on getting the job done quickly yet well--we appreciated that, as we were paying hourly for the actual amount. George Ringle did a great job with the advance estimate, too; he was very accurate and thorough.
