FRESH TENDRILS

We were delighted with the beauty of the arrangements. We set a budget, gave Tracy an idea of what the bride wanted, let her be creative. She said she would use flowers available reasonably at the time of the service to come up with what we wanted. Tracy's work was incredible, we couldn't have been more pleased. The bouquets and reception flowers were various shades of pink & red roses with greenery and other decoration. The flowers took our breath away. UNFORTUNATELY SHE HAS APPARENTLY CLOSED HER SHOP. WE TRIED TO REACH HER FOR OUR SECOND DAUGHTER'S WEDDING TO BE HELD IN DECEMBER, 2013, AND PHONE WAS DISCONNECTED. WILD FLOUR BAKERY IN ROCKY RIVER, OHIO, NEXT TO WHERE FRESH TENDRILS HAD BEEN IN EARLY 2011 TOLD US THAT SHE HAD GONE OUT OF BUSINESS AND WAS WORKING FOR A PRIVATE INDIVIDUAL. SHE WILL BE MISSSED. FRIENDS THAT USED HER WERE DELIGHTED WITH HER WORK.

Unsure of number of pew flowers, we agreed on tentative proposal. A month before wedding I attempted to reach Tracy by phone with final count. I played phone tag until someone at the shop suggested I email her. I was unable to get email to work. I sent a letter to shop. Went through number of each item needed & stated, "We discussed altar flowers & pew flowers. We decided to go with 8 pew flowers." At the church there were NO altar flowers & she could not be reached before the service. When we got home there was message saying she was sorry. She had assumed we didn't want the altar flowers. When I called Monday to say I could see how she could interpret that but that it could have been avoided if we'd talked or she'd written me, she yelled ''Don't even go there! You live close enough you could've come into the shop. I sent an email. I sent a letter. I have a copy here in the file.'' All with derisive laughter & dog barking in the background. I asked for total of what I owed & hung up.
