FOUR STAR ROOFING & SIDING

A month after the work was completed, there was a leak in the roof which they promised they were going to fix by doing all of the work above. When I tried to contact the company, they were extremely unresponsive and did not take responsibility for their work work or honor the oral guarantee he had given me. I had to hire another company to come fix the job and it was discovered that he had not used siding nails but had used steel nails which would rust. Also the nails used to install the shingles were popping up as well. There was also a gap left between a window and the siding which was allowing water to get in. Obviously this was something I had to take care of so I would not have additional damage and moisture between the shingles/siding and the house. This company needs to compensate me for the work that I had to get performed, as I allowed them plenty of time to fix their work covered under the guarantee, and they didn't show up when they said they would to look at the job, and finally accused me of lying. His last words to me was that "I got a deal" and that is why they weren't going to do the work. Also I was never given a receipt for the attic fan which was to be covered under warranty by the manufacturer for labor and parts but this was never given to me as well. I think they did this so I would be forced to call them if something happened so they would be the ones hired and paid by the manufacturer for the additional work. I would like them to send me a cashiers check for $350 I had to spend to hire the other company to fix his work.
