John Fitzgerald helped us get our house ready to sell, and completed a bunch of much needed fixing up. First, we needed to spruce up the curb-appeal, and John did this by complete power washing and fresh 2-color re-paint on the entire face of the house, including the garage door. Also the front door and some window trim was repaired and painted to match. And branches trimmed from the big trees out front - like a nice haircut on the formerly shaggy looking view from the street. New address numbers were added to the front of the house as well. The power washing of the back deck and trellis amazingly made the 30 year old treated lumber look like it was just installed, instead of the dingy gray it was before. Inside, we needed a bunch of wallpaper removed and the walls skim-coated and primed for some fresh, neutral color paint. This included the living room, dining room, kitchen, hallway and master bedroom. The walls were pretty beat up but John made them look like brand new by the time he was done. Super smooth, all cracks filled, sharp edges, no drips, no splatter, NICE! The basement bathroom received a significant but low budget upgrade which improved it 1000%. He also did some modifications like carpentry repairs, ceiling tile repair, chandelier replacement, refurbished a vintage outdoor globe pendant light, some rake board repairs, and finished the job with a thorough cleanup and window washing. This was a great amount of improvement all together and the house looks so much better!!! It's only been on the market for about a month and we've already had lots of interest and a couple of repeat views, one of which looks like it's about to go through. All in all VERY happy with Fitzgerald and Company and impressed by courteous and professional service.

We had a ton of work done in our house, including installation of an Almeda brand cork floor in the kitchen and dining room. We wanted the cork planks to be at a 45 degree angle to the room and to include the pantry closets and laundry area. Installation was nearly perfect, and the few tiny flaws I picked out (because I'm a fanatic perfectionist) were fixed immediately. The floor looks awesome and is soft and quiet. Another part of the remodel included a complete replacement of the shower in our master bathroom, which involved removing the original fiberglass shower, prepping and modifying the wall structure, reinforcing the floor under the shower, installing a new floor pan, new bronze fixtures, new complete floor-to-ceiling tile with custom mosaic inlay in the shower itself, new recessed shower shelves with custom cut marble shelf pieces, new floor tile throughout the bathroom in a pinwheel pattern, new marble threshold, and finish sealant. Finally, new paint scheme throughout entryway, kitchen, dining room, living room, hall, and master bath, 6 colors total, all done perfectly. All in all, Fitzgerald did a fantastic job on all aspects of this remodel. The quality of workmanship was very, very good. The final results look amazing. During the entire process John was polite and professional, understood what we envisioned, and provided excellent suggestions and guidance on the things we weren't sure about. I would not hesitate to recommend this company to anyone looking for excellent quality remodeling and refinishing work.
